HUGE PLANE. Also awesome, seems like it could carry quite a bit of load while still being airborne.

@jc: That quick? Nice. Also yeah, i have a number of reasons as to why i keep drawing fish:
- Many of them are edible and even taste good
- They are excellent blunt weapons, coming in various shapes and sizes
- They were featured in a Monty Python sketch
- They just look plain silly
- They are adept at trolling*

* STORY TIME: I saw a crab and a fish in an aquarium. The crab was slowly climbing up the side of a vertical rock face, actually getting upwards because of the rough texture of the rock. Cue mr. trollfish coming along and giving the crab a proper poke with its snout, making the crab plummet down to the bottom. I swear i could almost hear it going like "nooooooooo! curse you, finned creature!" as it was falling. It then hit the ground at terminal velocity. This being under water, that was about as fast as a feather falling through air.

That's so funny :P

@Guardian G.I.: That plane looks real bitchin'! I have such a weakness for drawings where you can see the perspectivelines still

I made a space/fantasy piece, and I'm proud, despite the simple and repeating chordprogression
Halindir - Ainulindalė Song of the Ainur.
And
Halindir - Lady of The Moon (The Dance of Time)

I finished finished working on a little album.
Rhea Before Titan
It's about 20 minutes of fantasy/space themed ambient and metal.

Here's something I did for a forum game. Random character is random.

It was a forum game character. Someone suggested that they be a blonde female instead of a stereotypical robber, so the GM compromised in a hilarious way.

Trying to figure out this newfangled blender version after being away from modeling for a couple years, and I'm liking the new materials. The emerald is a little pale, but I like the gold and silver. Now I just need to figure out how to add imperfections to the inside of that emerald for additional realism.

Is that using the new cycles render engine that's beginning to see implementation, or classic?

Uh... the default? I haven't figured out the new rendering system yet. (I seriously haven't touched Blender in 36 to 40 months.)

The new one's still pretty rough, and can only be used using nodes.  Anyways, that's some great material usage for no use for a few years.

So i was bored last night, which resulted in me trying to calculate the height of a fully grown dragon in DF.

It's fucking huge. Assuming a slightly more massive build than an English Mastiff (which is a pretty heavy dawg), it would stand around 13 meters (give or take one) tall AT THE SHOULDERS. By comparison, a giraffes head has 5-6 meters of ground clearance. Basically, i'm wondering how those things are even bothered by anything short of a falling mountain (which is fortunately within dorfen capabilities too).
