"1~4% is added to the interest rate with each level of this tech, up to 25%". "

The issue with the wording is in how the ambiguity lies in the 'added to' and 'up to 25%'
-added to what? 0? a base rate?
--up to 25%? Is that a 'up to' in terms of bonuses or is it a max cap including a base rate?

KNowing the base rate is 0, however, clarifies it all greatly

The question in an of itself was not useless. I am simply stating that I could have made the assumption I did, in my answer to you, due to the omission of a base starting interest rate anywhere indicating that there was not such a thing. The question sets it in stone, before that, Skyrunner could have said she simply had forgot to add the inital rate to the first post.

Stll, enough of this, as far as I am concerned. I will reply should you wish to dwell on this topic, but I doubt that is the case.

Does anyone else have a headache from Azthor claiming to be a native speaker of a dead language?

Do note the "latin speaker". In that case, that translates to "languages constructed based on latin".  ???

Much as I'd wish to give learning Latin a go, other than that within my professional field, I reckon it is of little practical use for me.

Obviously not English seeing as you think that. A Latin speaker is someone who speaks Latin. A native Latin speaker is someone who speaks Latin natively (also known as no one). A speaker of a Latin derived language is someone who speaks a Latin derived language (also known as you... Sorta...)

I thought English was a Germanic language. :/

EDIT : We currently have 3/9 people posting their turns. Azthor, since you are obviously online, why don't you post your turn? Also with the added benefit of bumping the turns thread.

EDIT2: Why are you all talking about the finer aspects of English and Latin derived languages in a RP thread.?

First and foremost, I put the term between quotation marks for a reason, you should have taken that as a sign, given how you yourself admited Native Latin Speakers, literally speaking, do not exist anymore (although there may be remote exceptions not worth bothering over). Going from there care to tell me what you meant by the "sort of"?

Edit: I'd like to wait for Elf, but if you deem it truly necessary, I can patch my turn up right away. What would you have me do? And yes, English is a Germanic language, Anglo-Saxonic, if one wishes to be precise.

Quotation marks do not imply the addition of the word native.

Sort of is about how poor you are with English. Although I assume that it is not your native language, I don't have any proof of what actually is.

Excuse me if you are troubled by anything other than perfectly straightforward and plain syntatic structures. Furthermore, I'd like to point out that [native] stood just before "latin speaker" in my original sentence, hence, I fail to understand whatever point you meant to express.

Should you wish to continue with this discussion, I will gladly continue through PMs. Others need not read increasingly harsh words without having expessed any interest in doing so.

Edit: My native language is portuguese, english is the third.

What I want you to do is (1) Update turn (2) Please cease from discussing Latin derived languages
' finer aspects in this thread. Its rather off-topic.

Cript, please.

EDIT:

All of the personal research rolls were redone. No-one got Education though ...

Alright, my only request is that I get to modify my turn later on, should Elf opt for modifying the size of our current investments.

Fuck it, I'm out. I already missed one turn because I was forgotten, and frankly my questions seem to be ignored. Good luck Taricus, fight for the dominance of the southland!
