but let's assume, for functionality's sake, that #0 exists,

#0 always existed. It is in one of the spoilers :/

About alliances, there will be NO rules governing it, except for peace treaties/ceasefires/researching together/trade for x turns, and other contractual agreements.

Example: Nation A may agree to have peace for 5 turns with Nation B. This is set in stone and also must be announced. If Nation A agrees to Nation B without any contracts, they are trusting each other and may stab each other's back at will. A plus to this is that no-one knows. Though, you probably pm me, the GM, so that blockades are passed freely.

If you hit the research upgrade threshold twice or more in a round, though investmet, you can get multiple levels simultaneously, no?

@ Azthor

Yes and no. Yes, you will get multiple, but no, as in the maximum is 2 and 99% levels.

Also, @kisame, give me new homeland coordinates ASAP. We will start the game with no coordinates for you yet.

NOW, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

EDIT : Oh, also look at the turn checklist in the OP of the turn thread. Link"

Skyrunner, I very strongly advise you condense the turn posts into one post, next time. It will make things easier.

Do we at least get refunded the excess? After all, as there is no way for us to know how much would give us one level, endgame investments might have over half of their worth going to waste.

Those aren't turn sheets. They are nation sheets, and will be there permanently. I'm not going to copy and paste the entire sheet....but I will post things like unit movements, colony growths, income, etc etc.

@Athzor : Yes, except not in money but in research points.

Good enough. Also, is there a penalty margin for joint researches? Example: X and Y joint research Z with K funds each, is the total investment 2K or is it reduced to aK, where 2>a>1?

On a side note, Taricus just invested in 3 researches, is that possible? If yes, shouldn't he choose a single one of them to receive the free 3d100 boost?

Research agreements are mutually beneficial, at least when you are not trying to beat the opposition in tech.

If A and B put m funds each towards researching t, 2m funds are turned into research points, the 3d100 is rolled once, and upon completion both sides receive the tech. Leftover research points are split according to the ratio of funds.

Also, some of you may have noticed that colony's resources are 1~2 and random.

Well, it would be possible to split the 3d100 three ways...

I see what you did there >.> Okay, I will do that :P

I really need to codify these rules, but not on PC right now.

Edit: does building one dhow at two places mean "split production of one between them" or "one each"? The former will require something to transport pieces of dhow from one to another >.>

Since they are next to each other, it is okay for the former.

A minor modfication in the colony tab, in your first post, is due. It still states 1d3 resources for colonies.

Latter AKA building one each. I'll clarify that for you.

As for the unocuppied homeland tiles... Is it safe to assume that they are downright useless until fully developed, and, once developed, serve as normal homeland territories for all puposes, other than not producing resources?
