Little more orders since 1000 years are not passed yet:
create an array of Blue crystals (Draioth's gift) all over the country, with commoners around it with orders to transmit every transmission coming to the next station, all the way to the final receptor.

Every time the population goes over 30 million in each hexagon, automatically expand north (under the mountains).

The Uncleansed felt great sorrow and death to the north. It knew that it needed to move on from the these blobs and find new toys. But it was drained from its actions. Tiredly it appeared before the highest ranking priest of its followers among the devourers. To this blob it forced visions of the northeast and expansion. And visions of the cost of failure. The blob knew that the new mandate for all followers was to spread slowly over to the northeast and see new species and new lands. They were to send groups of The Uncleansed followers to each new species and try to make contact. Most importantly small groups of them were to integrate themselves somewhat into the societies of the other species.

With this done The Uncleansed fell into a deep slumber from which it did not stir for many a century.

400 years later

The Uncleansed awoke. It felt the rage burn within. It took off running to the northeast. It sensed the pain and death of a new species, one that was preyed upon by monster blob. Like a much bigger one of its followers. It was intrigued. It sensed the rulers of this place, in some of them it sensed the seeds of frustration that could with the right care be blossomed into a flower of hate and rage. Select groups of followers among the blobs were instructed to seek meetings with these leaders and to tell them of what The Uncleansed offers.

It then opened it's divine essence to its followers, giving them the ability to draw upon it to preform divine magical acts, if their belief was strong enough.

Addition. The Hivemind, noticing the vast threat posed by both the plagued blobkin and natural predators, ushers the blobs towards the worship of the two deities whom have helped the Devourers thus far (this is the primitive equivalent of establishing an official state religion).

I thank you for your worship. Although why do you think the plagued blobkin are a threat? Vast or otherwise?

I thank you for your worship.

You are not one of these two, but you do get your own set of potential benefits. The hive mind will be consistently poised against you until at least 50% of the blob population has been plagued. Your own fanatical followers are not excluded from the psionic network and can be influenced to some degree. Likewise, should the previously mentioned majority state be reached, you will be able to influnce the hive mind directly.

Personally, I'd have the Devourer populaton blowing though the roof if I just had all of them go and plague themselves, after all, they do become superpredators in the process, but, given the buff's nature, it'd make no sense at all for the healthy individuals to express a collective wish for self-inflicted torture.

What? I do not control the plagued blobs more then any other god controls their guys. I figured you did not mind me using them to reach the other ones because you said you were doing nothing with them. Having more worshipers does not seem like it would give me any more control over the hivemind then I already have (in the form of no control)

Anyway, I don't want to be poised against you. I killed a lot of blobs, yes. But for the greater good. You will notice that natural predators leave them alone. The vast threat you described has been neutralized by me. If you want I will make the rest of your blobs immune to predation. And by immune I mean not really since the predators are going to evolve quicker then I can make new plagues, but at least I can elevate it somewhat.

By control, I meant that you'd be able to use the hive mind to usher the whole populaton into conversion. The hive mind is a "collective" of the individual wills of the blobs; blobs which dislike agonizing deaths by plague. The plagued ones also have a voice in it though, but they are still a minority, hence why it is posed against you, rather than in your favor.

Note: Have a look at the edited in bit in my previous post.

Well, alright. I have no idea how the hivemind works so I will defer to you on this, as I should have from the start.

But I still do not want to be at odds with the hivemind. Can we not be friends?

I am tempted myself, but I cannot see how it'd work out in character, it'd be like embracing cancer voluntarily. If this helps, the hive mind is currently quite much impotent and unable to take any sort of action against you and your followers. Even should it have the resources to pull off an offensive, it'd be far more interested into avoiding you like the plague (lame pun).

How does the Hivemind respond to Niklas?

You are fairly compatible with their zerg rush way of life, but, if I am not wrong, currently unknown to the blobs. As I said, the blobs themselves aren't sufficiently intelligent to care about anything other than survival and their instincts, thus, any dubious divine gifts which furthers the species itself, but compromises these basics, are likely to get a bad reaction. The hive mind has yet to grow sufficiently intelligent to manifest a will of itself; once it does, furthering the whole species at the sacrifice of some will start being smiled upon, as the species will embrace the concept of a greater purpose than their individualities.

I do belive I skipped around terrozing small pockets of every race and electing those worthy (read: not scared shitless) to be my champions and lead those I have touched. I am now telling my champions to build sall temples in the way I described above.
