That's awesome! I plan to raise my children like that as well. Post us some screenshots of her fortress! Sometimes a young mind can surprise us all.

To be honest, I'm amazed by the fact there is a Bay12er who has a family.
Babylon isn't the only one.  My son (no quite 6) likes to hear about the battles, such as my eight dwarves trying to bring down a giant eagle with copper spears and no marksdwarf support (the eagle got away, but was moderately wounded, and only one dwarf was injured, and that a flesh-wound), but hopefully I can move him from Minecraft to DF over the next few years.

Babylon, you'll have to keep us posted on the success of her fortress! :D

Zepave Dawnhogs the Butterfly of Vales the Marsh Titan ... was taken out by a single novice axedwarf and his pet war kitten. Long Live Domas Etasastesh Adilloram, slayer of the snow butterfly!
Doesn't quite have the ring of heroics to it...
Mother: "...and after the evil snow butterfly was defeated, Domas and his kitten lived happily ever after!"
Kids: "Yaaaay!"

She's 10 and decided that her group of dwarves, which she named Anger Balls the Balls of Anger, needed to establish a fort called big balls. She gave all the dwarves custom names, my favorite of which was the brewer 'Rapidbladder'
Then may your daughters beard grow long and prosper!

When she reaches age thirteen, make sure she has a job in the mines.

Always nice to see the family take an interest in the little drunks(the dwarves, not the children, I mean... don't get children drunk!) ;3

She's one smart kid, I have friends in late teens who don't understand this game. And they are gamers.

Testify, brother!  Sister orb rother.

Anyway, I'm sure there'll be a few choice plums of entertainment, with some particularly good jewels amongst them, in how she tackles the game.  Let us know any nuggets of information.  Just remember what from tiny acorns grow...

Basically, I think she rocks.
