It's ok, Lysabild, I'm from the future. Yes, I am in 2012 right now and let me tell you, everything is better! Medical science has advanced to the level where mankind is basically immortal. New renewable energy sources have solved the worlds oil crisis, and better farming methods produce enough yield to feed everybody. There is no more war, and conflict is settled through debate on a global stage, not with guns.
It is a wonderful age of science and peace, and one day, you may even live long enough to see it!

A 3 hour late happy new years to all of bay 12 (although I suppose i'm still nice and early for the other hemisphere's party). I celebrated by watching discovery channel marathons.

I know, I shouldn't be messing with the time line by using this window to send a message to the past, but it is the only way, you have to understand!

Tsk, does it matter? New year is another social celebration designed to appease the masses so we don't mind how much the world sucks.

Årr hold dog kæft og nyd fyrværkeriet istedet for at sidde der og surmule som en eller anden kedelig elverunge. :P

Hm... I might be home in time to laugh at the west coast people who are still waiting for the new year after I get into it.
