Well, I'm working till 6pm, then have to be back at work tomorrow at 6am. So not a hell of a lot. Me and the wife might have a few drinks after the kids are put to bed. Staying up till midnight is no big deal (I'm usually not in bed until 1am-ish anyways), although last night I was down for the count by 8:30pm.

OH MY GOD!!! It is 2012 here and the earth has opened up and brimstone is falling from the sky! Satan himself stand over us laughing, and he's demonic servants sweet the land, brandishing pain and death. Water has turned to acid, and food to ash. This is truly judgement day itself! The end is neigh for us all!!!!
So all in all, I would say it makes Australia if anything a more hospitable place to live.

Stay up late and game. Same thing I've been doing for the past few weeks. Also, procrastinate heavily.

Still got another 11 and 2/3 months to go before that happens. Don't worry, plenty of time to gather party supplies before the clowns come and join.

Thank you for making me spew coffee on my desk.

oh, and my plans for tomorrow are to nom nom the traditional New Year's meal of blackeyed peas, greens and ham. If I were a diehard traditionalist, it'd be collard greens and hamhocks, but in our case we'll substitute turnip greens and some honey-baked ham.
