The number of colonies is likey to be high, hence, I suggest not mixing time based grwth and investment based growth. Just keep them restricted to investments until they convert to a normal province.

Well, if 18th Century gets through, things can go bad real fast if a good history nut can take advantage of it.

Speaking of which, is Research gonna return in here?

I suggest altogether ignoring time based growth for colonies. Keeping track of that and investment simultaneously will require all the more work.

As for research, I do believe we are heading towards having different tech levels.

How much more work would it require? I mean it's only keeping track of how long it's been a colony, which shouldn't be so hard.

How much more work would it require? I mean it's only keeping track of how long it's been a colony, which shouldn't be so hard.

That depends on wheter growth is linear. If it is not, prepare for Fun: {(Base+Investmet)Growth]+Investment}Growth...

Its a fixed amount per level :3

If I really wanted to make it a function, I always have Excel, which I heavily use in the Mabinogion.

If you use linear progression, yes, it is feasible, but then it'd be best if investment cost scaled faster with levels than the time cost, for balance purposes.
