Alle swears in his thoughts. They were playing with death here. Another one was about to join their ranks too. Except for Caleb. He was trying to save the mage.

He sees Max dive for the southern door, too late to catch a thief like that, Alle mused.

"You two!" he said to the one with a bleeding hand, and the one with the scroll. "Count me with you if we all take the other passage!

Join with Monkey and IronyOwl. Defend them and proceed along any passage they desire.

He takes one more look at the rotting, malformed corpse of the thief Systar, and closes his eyes while muttering a prayer.

The festering hand of the mage needed attention. He glanced at his own dagger. "If need be, I know summa that first aid treatment they give to wounds like those. Will you be missing a hand or a life? I'll cut off some of that dead skin."
