I'm pretty sure you mean best LP ever, not to mention it is not nearly over. I was not kidding about wanting to LP this, nor was I kidding about doing it in Google translate language if I play on Super Human.

You made all your dudes shoot each other. I'd say that qualifies as worst!

Hmm. I wonder what Babelfish has to say about all this...

Oh! A foreigner! To go to look for it my spurts!

Carl runs by the incline and abroad abre fire from behind his friendly. It has two hits, but saddly inferior of them is abroad…

Somehow he is strange to a alluvium of complete car from back reason why sending To mark to kill both.

Well then.

I maintain my previous vote, with the rocket tanks and Experienced difficulty.

(conspiracy theorist mode GO)
HMMMMM...a likely story. The TRUTH, obviously, is that there was a THIRD shooter, behind a BARN. In order for the soldiers to have been killed, they must have been shot FROM BEHIND, via a MAGIC BULLET that by-passed Carl the ROOKIE. CARL was then ASSASSINATED by a COMMUNIST, only for the COMMUNIST to be murdered by MARK. I am RANDOMLY capitalizing WORDS, which makes me RIGHT.

seriously, Google's translation leaves much to be desired. "He has two hits, but saddly they are lower abroad ..."...what?

My name is Criptfeind. Well. General Criptfeind now I guess. I was put in charge of the X-COM project because I was the one who warned the world governments that the alien invasion was coming and the only one ready. At first I was laughed at, ridiculed. Not even my families wealth could buy acknowledgement from the elites of the world. So. I set it up myself. It took almost every dollar I had, but I made a underground base in Texas USA. I hired a crack team of mercenaries and scientists. When the first alien ship soared into our atmosphere I was ready.

The world governments were shocked. Within days I had them all pledged to support my secret team activities. The war was on.

January First: 1999

The first payment from the governments had arrived. A cool 4.1 million dollars. First order of business was buying weapons. Although the missiles on my Jets seemed strong enough the cannon seemed to have basically no effect, so I sent out orders for two more missile launchers and several more missiles to be delivered to NERV-01. Secondly, if this ever turned into a real ground fight I did not like the idea of us just going in with basic rifles when they will have who knows what to shoot at us. Sadly, nothing could be done for handheld weapons, but I did send a order out for a tank that can fire rockets. That should punch though anything they can throw at us.

With the new influx of cash I also hired four more solders and five more scientists. Once they get here fighting and... What ever it is that scientists do will presumable by less of a crap shoot. Numbers will be the only advantage we have against these alien invaders.

Unfortunately that was about all the space we had in NERV-01. I ordered more storage space be built, but it will take a while.

At any rate. Lets hope we do well. Or the human race may be doomed.

Alright guys. Do you want a lot of little updates like that one where I will do one for basically any big event, or much longer updates (that will also take much much longer to make) for each play session I do?

Just show interesting battles and research, stuff along those lines. We don't really need to see EVERY UFO capture, unless you do exceptionally well or poorly.

I'm fine with whatever's easier to keep interest in and maintain. I don't think anyone would be devastated to miss out on "captured supply ship #53724. Standard loot."

January Eighth: 1999

Two events happened today. The first of which is the Scientists, who I had basically given their own lead came to me today and said that had made a break though in light focusing and manipulation. I of course asked them why they were talking gibberish to me. After a bit of staring the head scientist said, slowly, that they were working on laser beams.

Pew pews?

Yes. Pew pews.

Soon they will have a prototype laser pistol to test. Perhaps these weapons can defeat a alien? I am still worried about the killing power of rifles.

Anyway, the second and more important event was a alien space ship was detected flying over north Texas. I ordered Interceptor 1 to chase it down.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It was quickly caught and shot down over north Texas and the team was sent in the Sky Ranger to pick up the remains.

It was a rural ghost town, no more then a few shacks. Despite being abandoned it seemed... Peaceful. The tank rolled out, driven by the talented Mormota it's treads were the only sound as it took a point position for the rest of the team to follow.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Suddenly Leon shouted out, pointing to a upper window on the second floor of a building. A small gray face peeked out. The first alien seen in the flesh. By a reliable source that is. Although Leon and DinosaurusRex_x opened a volley into the second floor it appeared unhurt and was quickly lost to sight.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A small detachment was sent to sweep a building to the teams rear as the soldiers got ready to surround the house the alien was in. The tank rolled out though the middle of town, but was unable to find any other aliens.

Despite DinosaurusRex_x and Leon scanning though the windows, the alien was nowhere to be found.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Suddenly Sirus shouted out! He had spotted a alien trying to hide in a building to the rear. He took steady aim and shot at it. Hitting it squarely in the chest. But. It did not fall. All it did was look at Sirus and slowly raised a odd device. It took aim and as it was about to pull the trigger started coughing green blood, it's shot luckily went wide and sailed off into a field, only slightly singing Sirus as it went past. Luckily Sirus's backup arrived at that time and shot the alien full of holes. Killing it instantly.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Then, another shot. The alien from before had descended to the lower levels and had hit a solder by a window with a strange ball of green energy, instantly frying his insides, before anyone could react it ran back into the darkness of the house. One soldier ran to his fallen comrade to to see if he could save him and to look for the alien bastard that killed him. He failed on both counts. The man who he was suppose to be covering went further into the house, perhaps foolishly. The alien ran around a corner and shot him before he could react, slaying him instantly. But, the alien bastard missed DinosaurusRex_x who was covering the room from a window, he quickly opened fire on the alien, although he was not quick enough to save his comrade he did manage to lay low the alien scum.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

After a little bit of cautious searching it was apparent that only two aliens had survived the crash. The first mission was a success! But the cost in life was great. Two were dead. The first victims of this silent war. They would not be the last.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

For their bravery and leadership skills on the battle field I have promoted DinosaurusRex_x and Sirus to the rank of Sargent. May they lead us to victory.

Sorry you were not in this one, or that your advice about the base was not taken. But I had already finished all the writing by the time you posted. I will get you in the next one update. Do you want the guy who killed the alien? Or some other random bloke?
