With my stats, the only thing I'd be good for is breaching UFOs. That is, if I don't panick/berserk after one guy gets killed. Also, give me a stun rod for doing it. That's probably the only thing I'd hit with.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Tankers get no bio (Actually they might for all I know, but I have no idea how to bring it up if they do). But you are on the main list on the first post.

Tanks are remote controlled and unnamable, although it has been roleplayed several times

January Fourteenth: 1999

Today the scientists came to me excitedly, babbling about a breakthrough they had made. They showed me a small device, they they called a Directionally Enhanced Focused Light Amplifying Terror Emitter. Or DEFLATE. After a short round of smacking them it became apparent that it was a laser pistol. I do not know why they did not say so. Although I am somewhat impressed with the killing power of this device, I think it is too small. I have ordered the scientists to make a larger version. At least the engineers, who have just been sitting around, have something too do. I have told them to make two field ready laser pistols for our troops to test. They should be done in two and a half days.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Additionally ten more scientists arrived with a load weapons for the troops. I have set them to dissect the dead alien we have. The scientists. The weapons are more of the explody type, not the dissecting type.

We have started building a containment for any live aliens we capture. Perhaps we can glean their motives?

January Twenty Fourth: 1999

Early this morning the scientists finished research the dead alien body. Some interesting results... I am not convinced that these could lead a war against us. Could there be more then one race against us in this war? Perhaps... A scary thought.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

They are now to research into the super strong metal that the alien craft seems to be made of.

But more importantly, a alien ship was spotted flying in over the west coast! A jet was sent out to shoot it down.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The jet took some minor damage but was able to take it down easy enough. The team was sent out to make sure all the aliens died in the crash.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The location was deep in the desert. Although the heat was oppressive we were still thankful it was day as we knew the aliens had better sight then us in the dark. Mormota was the first to roll out. Hopefully everyone will come back from this...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A alien was spotted over a hill, it seemed to have not noticed our presence.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A alien came from the north and took a shot a Mormota. Lucky the heavy armor of the tank stopped any damage. Unfortunately for Kilroy, he was not heavily armored when a alien shot a strange projectile at him. Although the explosion did not kill him outright, he was knocked unconscious and was heavily bleeding. No one expected him to live.

Why are you so useless Mormota?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Luckily DinosaurusRex_x was there to clean up the terrible job done my Mormota. He quickly took it down.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Another alien was spotted to the south, although a few solders were unable to actually hit it, Sirus calmly walk up a hill and shot it right in the face.

Another alien was spotted. Although Shinji managed to hit it, it was still standing.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The alien reacted by shooting another strange explosive projectile which hit the tank head on. Heavy damaging it. Lucky it was still functional. Sir Thomas responded by shooting a strange projectile of his own, which missed the alien, the alien ship and managed to fly for half a mile before destroying several endangered species of cactus. A investigation of where he got a rocket launcher is underway.

Stone cold shot his cannon at the alien, scoring a direct hit to the chest. But the alien was still standing. Apparently aliens can withstand a shot from a heavy cannon and a laser pistol.

Some more solders came and shot at it to no avail. After five solders and a fucking tank were unable to take down one alien Hexedy was forced to walk over and kill it in one shot.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Another alien was spotted by Jacen. Unfortunately, since he was not issued ammo. He was unable to shoot at it.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Mormota had no such issues.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A alien came out of the ship and shot at us, but luckily it managed to hit his own ship. It seems that alien solders are are shitty as human ones.

We surrounded the ship, ready to blast our way in. Jacen would go in first.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Wow that is a lot of aliens. I bet Jacen wished he had ammo.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

He threw his grenade at them. They responded by shooting him. He responded by dying.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Seconds later we heard a boom from the ship and the sound of aliens dying.
Shinji bust in and took down one alien in a burst of laser fire. Virgle followed him and took down the last alien. The mission was a success with only minimal causalities!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

On the way back to the ship we found that Kilroy was still alive somehow. Upon further inspection it appeared that he was only sleeping in the dirt. Also that he had over a hundred packets of ketchup that burst and in fact had no wounds. Sirus on the other hand tripped and fell getting into the ship, banging his head on a metal railing. The doctors say he will be out of the medical bay in a week or so.

Give me anther soldier called Jacen-002. Make him a UFO breacher as well, and give him a stun rod this time. Anytime he dies, just make another soldier labeled in the same way and advance the number.

Oh. About the stun rods. The reason why no one has one is because I did not have the storage space to order them, so I had to wait for a new general storage to be made, then I had to order them. Hopefully they should get to the base before the next fight.

Right now, I'd suggest selling sectoid corpses for cash, you don't need them anymore.  You also only need one corpse of each alien type for research, so sell any excess.  I imagine your plasma weapon inventory isn't large enough to start selling them off quite yet.

Once you get a heavy plasma, research that, and use them for the rest of the game.

Ok, I'm in!

Name: Euch-R-JAK-1
Bio: A veteran of dying.  What??  ???
When he/she dies, increase the number and start again.
Prefered Weapon: Laser Pistol (look at the style of the name and guess why)

Technically it had already been shot by a laser pistol and a heavy cannon. But yeah. I think DinosaurusRex_x missed it nine times just by himself.

January Twenty Eighth: 1999

A load of rifles and ammo has came in today, hopefully we won't be caught with our pants down again. With it came four new soldiers. Two of them act pretty damn strangely. (Don't tell anyone, but I think they might be clones) I will keep a close watch on them.

On a brighter note, alien containment is finished and we got a load of shock batons. Lets see if he can capture one of these bastards alive.

February First: 1999

I got the monthly budget report today. Our funding has increased about a third of a million dollars. I... Could be happier. But it is a start. Right now we are sitting on about four and a half million... I have ordered a larger scanner to be built, since there have been some reports of aliens to the south we have been missing. But more importantly then that it seems Australia has been hit hard by them. I think we need to build a base, at least enough for a interceptor, there. It should not take more then a million or so to get up and running.

Alright guys. This is a pretty big decision as to where we put our second base, so I thought I should ask you guys. I think we need one, since only like four nations were happy with us. Which seems like not a lot. Also that huge spike in Australia. That and the north American one are basically it. A few other places have little tiny one pixel bumps that must be like a scout craft or something.

I think a base in northern Australia or on one of the islands in that area would be a good idea. What about you guys?

Oh. Also. FYI. My game crashed. So. Stuff might not be 100% the same.
