Whoops, I was only looking at the sequence where he kept dying to fill up the hole, which was slightly zoomed in on the center so I missed that.

attempt a somersault toward the portal, even if it might mean losing your balance and falling to your death.

then...

grab the grey key, and try it on the chest.

Edit: If you aren't flexible enough for somersaults, try a cartwheel.

Huh, looks like a mirror to me. Hopefully our reflection doesn't come out of it as a darkling or something...

Maybe if we use a corpse from the other room as sort of a reflection shield?
