Hooray! It lives! And that last panel made me laugh pretty hard, too.

Although as regards a solution, I am also terrible at puzzles. I'm guessing we should do something with the box, but the only thing coming to mind is pushing it onto the bridge we can't extend.

Bah. Pull the leaver back and forth as quickly as you can. That will remove the obstruction.

Sorry. The lever causes the bridge under the unformed purple bridge to extend. Unfortunately, something is obstructing the bridge so it can't extend all the way. It hits the thing blocking it with a thunk and stays there.

Push the block over the edge where the extending bridge is to clear the obstruction.
