You all find yourselves in a dank room that smells of Koopa. In the center of the room stands a set of three pillars, each with an orb floating above them. The orbs come in two colors: red and blue. You get the sense that you have encountered a PATTERN PUZZLE.

It is obvious.

You must smash the red orb in order to get a key that is inside it. Dunno what the key would do though.

The pillars and orbs are protected by a magical aura. Luigi cannot manually move them!

Link hits the red orb (and its pillar) with his sword, thus successfully turning it blue. Nothing seems to happen.
