Waluigi is in the Mushroom Kingdom's royal castle! It is twisty and turny, just like Bowser's Castle. Ever since nabbing the treasury key off that Toad that's a little too tall, Waluigi and Wario have been preparing a MASTER PLAN plan to steal as much loot from the royal treasury as they can!

The castle is full of Toad guards, though, so Waluigi has had to wear this terrible hat. Waluigi HATES Toads!

WAAAAAH! That was narrative just now, Waluigi didn't actually yell that. Why would Waluigi? Waluigi needs to be in the hallway where Wario is before the heist starts! Doing it now would blow Waluigi's cover.

Waluigi enters through the door. Too bad for the puny royals that they don't guard the entrances to the entrances to their vaults. Or maybe they do, and Wario already took out all the guards. Whatever. Waluigi sees the vault hallway is pretty beat up, maybe from multiple failed heist attempts.

Waluigi then tastes the mushroom hat. TERRIBLE. Waluigi stole this from a Toad a while back, and it doesn't taste any better now than it did right off his head!
