Ah yes, Link. Proud and valiant defector from the twisted Hyrule Kingdom. His information - traded for immortality - helped the tyrannical Mushroom Kingdom crush yet another oppressor. You had many adventures with him before he, too, became a Child of Magic. Unfortunately, he was trashed by a spear to the heart, which stopped his blood flow and revealed a fatal flaw in the immortality magic: upon a violent death, the user will be caught in a viscous cycle of being raised and experience the death again and again. He was like this for days before the Kingdom's technicians could manually turn off his suit and let him rest in peace.

Truly a terrifying story. Grimtoad continues chanting.
