Will surely try, Hugo!
The first spring during which nobles find and deal with a chaos cultist.-Hey Sirus, why are we stopping here? We are not even close our destination point! - shouted Jamcat
-It's the yak, m'lord. It won't pull the wagon anymore...
Both yaks looked sick, the first one mooed hopelessly, while the other one on Jamcat's own eyes started to cover in ugly blisters from head to hooves. The nobles decided to raise Lady's Shrine and decide what to do in the evening. In the meantime both sick animals were transported on a field nearby.
-I've never seen anything like it before - said Backen Feuerschreien - but I've heard about such cases in Mousillon where it's complete..
-I SAY, there is a chaos cult operating here. - Jamcat stood and checked his silver war hammer. - We are staying here.
In the place of the old shrine a temporary noble house was built. While the majority of peasants worked on it, Amkol Fashtomus worked in the mountains up North, collecting stone and checking for ores. To kill the time, waiting for chaos cultists to show up, Jamcat, Lloyd and Backen went hunting foxes.
-An exotic bear, you say - smiled Lloyd, checking his lance - I'd say we hunt this one too.
-An excellent idea Lloyd - said Jamcat grabbing a hammer and both ventured into the thick forest, while Backed checked on the scared yaks.
While the panda wasn't that dangerous opponent as they wanted, the lack of armour resulted in Jamcat's hand torn and bleeding all over the place. Backed had it sewn together and the panda was turned into Jamcat's new leather cloak.
It was then, when the first yak succumbed to infection - Jamcat knew that chaos cultists won't come - they were already here! Rushing into the noble house where Backen was performing a surgery on Amkol's rotting feet, grabbed the sick one and declared him a traitor and Nurgle's cultist.
The peasants were ecstatic to find a man behind the sickness of the animals and quickly built a bonfire, gathered a large pile of wood and tied poor miner to the pole.
-Burn the wizard! - they shouted - Burn the traitor!
Both Lloyd and Backen didn't watch the obviously staged execution but couldn't help not to hear the Amkol begging for his life slowly roasting in the bonfire. The death marked the end of their first Spring.
