You decide that these tiny humans look sad and scared, and therefore need a hug.

You give many a hug. The air is filled with the smell of candy and the smell of burning clothes. To some extent, it worked. The ones you didnt hug start moving even faster, but the ones you hug are having a nap, before they have a nice chat with Death.

Death is a fairly nice guy. Offers tea and boardgames. Never play monopoly with the dude though, gets really angry at that. Pretty much every other game is good. Especially chess, he just sucks at everything other than taking out pawns, so its not very hard to earn your life back. Well, it would be if this wasnt a stereotypical medieval magical setting where nobody knows how to play chess.

Anyway, back to the burning. At this point some have dodged your attempts at hugs and ran into others meaning that the fire is spreading quite quickly.

And then a train comes, and a really fat person comes out of it. You suspect he might live entirely off of milk and cookies. He pulls out a rocket launcher and aims at you.

What do you do against this fat threat?

    Elemental Phoenix: Phoenixes are technically already a crossbreed of birds and fire elementals and it is best to leave how that happened unspoken. But some Phoenixes have the ability to turn into a more powerful form, where they are composed purely of fire and gain a bit of size. Quite the fire hazard, but has the plus side of looking awesome and giving the ability to breathe fire, both literally and in the dragon-like fire breath way.
    Phoenix Immortality: Phoenixes are practically immortal, upon being killed they turn into ashes and upon collecting a sufficient amount of heat, are reborn.

This, plus the use of your ELEMENTAL PHOENIX POWER. That is, TURN INTO FIRE when/before Santa fire its rocket, explode it by fire-breathing and rush through the explosion for the !!KILL!!

You barely dodge to rocket, but shoot a blast of fire towards it.

The rocket explodes with more force than you expected, it fires you towards the fat dude at a ludicrously fast speed. To any onlookers you look like a fireball. Since you are an elemental phoenix, you take the opportunity to literally turn into fire, thus actually being a fireball too.

You are now a burning elf. Your colony on this planet is under attack by a burning bird, and the colony is now burning.

A streak of fire goes past you, straight towards your jolly overseer, Santa Clause 4, the best of all Santas. At least that what you learned in you weekly whipping sessions that are meant to motivate you to be happy at all the toys you will be making for the humans all over the universe. Of course they do not actually appreciate the presents, and have a tendency of smelting the metal ones into swords.

The streak finally hits Santa Clause 4, and explodes into a gigantic fireball, that blows out the roof of the factory. It also derails the train Santa came in on.

You are Eluc'dir again. You just crashed into a jolly fat guy and exploded, taking a bit of damage in the process.

Actually a large bit.

This shit is actually pretty damn hard. At least the fires heals you a bit though.
