Let's get murdered : Jedi Academy, All Enemies are Sith

Hello!

Nearly complete lack of time (14 hours of work a day) makes it impossible for Morrowind or BG2 LP to progress - sadly - but a free day here, and a free hour there, allow me to play a quick game that requires little thought... In video!

Jedi Academy! Lightsabers, force, Luke Skywalker and stabbing. Haven't played it since 2006.. at least. I'm so rusty with the controls, that i'm actually creaking.
But it wouldn't be us, if we didn't go with "Break my balls" combat, and so "All enemies are sith" mod has been added.
It turns all enemies into.. well... sith.

The first 3 parts are quite lacking, as i was quite nervous and unprepared, but later on it - hopefully - gets watchable!

Feedback is always welcome, at least from Bay12 viewers.

Parts 1 - "ALL enemies are sith!? 2 - "Rosh.." 3 - "Blowing myself.. up"
Somewhat better parts 4 - "Faceplant" 5 - "Stab" 6 - "Droid we were sent for"
Finally, the first part that i'm happy with : 7 - "Chew Chew Bacca"

99 views? Update is in order!

Hopefully You've either avoided or endured parts 2-3, and are still alive to watch the following :

Part 8 - Do all students fight hundreds of sith every day?
Followed by 09 - Failtrain Collides with Roflcopter
And naturally the ironic Part 10 - Everything is going as planned.. trust me.
Finally, the session (1-11) was ended by Part 11 - We built this city on.. sand.. and magma.

Keep in mind that even calling me an "ass" is an acceptable form of feedback, that has a chance of winning.... a handshake!

A bit late on the 200 mark, but here we go! Session 2 in it's entirety.

Part 12 - Ramble incoherently for absolutely no reason
Part 13 - Swinging Blindly + Ranting = Reload
Part 14 - Heavy Blade
Part 15 - "Lightly Defended"
Part 16 - Logic.. this plan lacks it..
Part 17 - Waltzing through the halfway point
Part 18 Special - Winning is fun (we go on a killing spree, murdering people left and right! Yay!)

But what is this? A new series beginning? Aye, one that You should've expected from me.
Hint : "Numidia"
Hint 2 : "Pain"
Hint 3 : "What is this, i don't even.."

I feel content when playing crazy stuff, even if no one is watching, so why not let people see me fall :)?

Besides, i was asked to go video with RTW during "Western Roman Invasion", all those months ago. I tried Rome Total Realism, but found it to be (brace yourself) too balanced to be challenging. Which means : The mod was too well made for broken factions to exist.
So back to the roots with me, Numidia, all on camera.

JA is 60% done already.

 Stworca, have you tried Roma surrectum 2? Imbalanced, Romans are OP to fight against, it has the "stacks randomly spawn" problem from vanilla, BUT it's a lot harder to beat the armies. Oh and every rebel village has a full stack in it. It's hard to install and hard to play!

Also your voice is pretty awesome.

I've finished session 2 on 29th December. Session 3 was 30th (not yet uploaded, a short one)
Session 1 was done ~20th December.

The next ones i'll start recording.. i don't know.. once i have some time.

A brief lexicon of terms since you seemed not to know what some of them were.

Jawa: Short, robed, lightsaber fodder with glowing orange eyes that like to tinker with robots. They are also known as thieves, and like to sell sketchy goods and make awkward sales. They are also big fans of scavenging and making use of tossed away, and discard junk.
Sand Crawler: The huge clunky, top heavy vehicle the Jawa's live out of. They roam the desert in these things living a nomadic lifestyle.

I would like to stress Jawa's are not space gypsy's.

Hutt: Gigantic slugs that own large amounts of land in backwater regions of space and form powerful crime syndicates. Why a gigantic slug is somehow makes a really good mobster I don't know. For some reason the Hutt's are just really, really, rich.

I would like to stress that there is no kind of childish, uncreative, allegory in rich mobsters being gigantic slugs.

Rancor: A big nasty monster Jabba the Hutt kept as a pet monster. Naturally if you have a pet monster, you feed people to it.

I tried this mod and the character models were all screwed up.  Aurora and Tavian both became stormtroopers.  It amused me greatly to see a stormtrooper delivering a report in Aurora's giggly tone and girlish pose.

By the force that fight at the end of the first level was tough.  I probably lost it like 30 times before managing to win it with 3 health.

Actually it got a lot easier after that one fight.  Most of the first five levels were actually easier when full of Sith even.  The train was a real pain in the ass but wouldn't have been that hard if I wasn't so dead set on taking down every last enemy.  I haven't gotten to the second set of missions so maybe it gets harder there.

I think a big part of your problems stem from the fact that you don't use force speed.  Force speed is godlike awesome, especially when you are up against groups.  Run around until you can regenerate/absorb yourself back to full force power then activate speed and go to town.  Then start kiting again as you prepare for your next attack.

Also, start realizing that when your opponents use force rage it's a good thing.  Don't feel the need to engage them while they are raging, instead give your force power the time to regenerate and then engage them after they've exhausted themselves.

It also might be worth considering getting 2 or 3 ranks in healing.  It really extends your longevity against bosses.

Not a fan of Speed (exactly due to reasons mentioned by You), and announced in early videos that we shan't get heal.
The 'problems' are but a product of going for a LP run, and not.. non-LP.

In video i've found myself "taking chances" much more often than on Text LP's or when playing for myself.

I'm pretty sure those guys use force speed.  I activated it myself and observed one of them outrunning me.
