Back here in 2011, the new DF is right around the corner and is gonna have necromancers and werebeasts and vampires and a bunch of cool things like that. Have we had more than one release in the future? Is the dungeon master back? Because otherwise I'd be sad.

Anywho, remember Kim Jong Il? He just died, many Team America jokes were made. There's been a lot of unrest in the Middle East as various democratic revolutions broke out. Do Egypt and Libya have democracies yet, or are they a quagmire? Syria has a lot of unrest right now, hows that playing out?

Stateside, the Occupy movement has been a going thing for a while now- remember them? They ever make anything of themselves? Is society still dominated by the douchebags? Ha ha, of course it is. Silly question.

So right now, the bulk of your creative energies are being poured into various forum games. I sure hope you've finished that Pokemon LP, I doubt its something you'd drop but it is taking more time than anticipated back in freaking June. You're also running a suggestion game about being a Necromancer that's going fairly well, pretty good writing practice anyway, and a fairly entertaining Arena-style RTD. Did they end well? I suppose there's an off chance they're both yet ongoing- if so bravo for thinking of that much plot.

That said, you're a lazy putz and probably won't accomplish all of your goals, but at least attempt one of them! Did you learn to draw better, or take up musical composition, or actually finish writing a game? If you haven't done that last one, seriously, swallow your pride and check out Game Maker. Maybe you'll be able to do one worthwhile thing with your life.

Slightly more weighty- do you still live with Mom and Dad? Why? Move the fuck out. If you don't, is your antisocial behavior a product of your environment or yourself? You should know by now. And have you come to any conclusion on the bigger questions, or are you still indecisive? I'm ok with that now, but am I when I read this again?

I'm rather hoping this wasn't terribly perspective-granting, because if it was it was likely because you're still wallowing in your rut. Maybe try something new, or at least find a better rut. You can do that much.

Last decade has been pretty shitty on you. Same problems repeated themselves, new friends gained but many more stuck in the usual perpetual sea of acquaintances. No idea where you want to go and no willpower to do anything with your life.

I attacked that this year. I got up in its face and punched back. For a month or so I was my True Self, and that was amazing. Now something inside wants to be like that all the time. Now you know what to struggle and fight your own willpower over. You got this man. I hope you can advance on this first stepping stone.

And appreciate your friends. No more of this antisocial avoiding the computer bullshit. They want to see you and be with you, no small awkward situations will hurt that. These guys will stick with you.
