So these have been done in the past, and I decided I wanted to be the one to manage this year's. Basically, it goes like this:

1) I will lock this thread on January 1st, 2012.
2) I will unlock this thread on January 1st, 2013 and bump it. If the world starts to end I may be forced to open it sooner.

Say anything you want to say to yourself or other forum members a year from now. Goals you want to congratulate/scold yourself on accomplishing/failing, reminders you want to give yourself because you think you'll forget in a year and need the cold permanence of the internet to remind you, survival preparations in the case of the apocalypse that you want to have on hand, drunken ramblings that you think you'll laugh at a year from now since your past self is always funnier, or strange karkat-esque arguments. Whatever you want within the forum rules is fine.
