Unidentified Flaming Object sighted over Europe.
« on: December 25, 2011, 12:42:54 pm »

Saturday evening, on Christmas Eve, people have spotted a flaming ball of fire falling down the sky.

No wait, correction. Make that two flaming balls of fire falling down the sky, one at half past 5 and another one at half past 9 Central European time.

Nobody knows for sure what they were, except that they for sure ain't a shooting star. The most prevalent theory is that they were parts of the Soyuz spacecraft that has been launched a few days prior.

My personal theory is, of course, that it's a stray (literal)Fireball.

I haven't researched much on the topic, but there's a few videos here (don't mind the language, it's just regular Horrorterror).

Oh dear. Jesus returned, only to burn up on reentry. (Sorry.)

Out of curiosity, why couldn't they be shooting stars? While they are quite big, that's not unprecedented. I watched the videos, but was unable to read any of the sites, and haven't read anything else about this.

Shooting stars usually move faster and stuff. It might've been some meteorites though.

It's probably just Erdogan and Sarkozy's dad bombing the genocide out of each other.

It's probably just satellites burning up or a secret military test or some amateur airship accident or something.

Christmas Fireworks that look like meteors. Of course, why didn't we think of that?
