So this makes 4? dwarves claimed out of 9 total. Is something going wrong or are migrants just not attracted to farming?

In any case, here are the stats for Year 2:

(I think once Year 3 is done, we might be able to start a chart going showing economic progress)

Thanks again for these.

Can i get a Dwarf and a turn.

Yes and yes.

Okay, I should be able to play and get an update out some time tomorrow. You can push me back to fourth if you like, though. I apologize for the delays.

Don't worry about it if you are getting an update out tomorrow.

Okay, thanks. I just feel bad about the delays I have caused.

These kind of things always happen. So long as everyone isn't delaying for weeks at a time, there isn't really an issue.

Hey this looks cool. Dorf me as any male who's goin' free and give me a crossbow some time.

(I'd sign up for a turn, but I suck at the whole "Not killing everyone in stupid, stupid ways" thing)

I think unless the settings changed you got a crossbow by default, as did all adult dwarves.

I forgot to mention--I removed the slopes around the village, meaning it cant be directly reached from the hill side--only the river side. This might make it easier to defend when it is not winter (and the river is frozen)

Just a suggestion. When you guys start posting the updates see if you can focus on some of the claimed characters. If events start getting interesting we could start the whole 'community journal' project going.

I second this. If you could get through the dorf list too that would be a big plus.

More complications. Just suspend my turn until I can do it for sure. I'll let you know.

Yeah, Windows 7 failed to install, and XP is a no-go, so I'm gonna try to install Linux to repair sectors of my hard drove. If that doesn't work, it is probably a hardware failure in my motherboard. Ugh.

That is quite unfortunate. Hopefully things turn out for the best. Like I said, I've PM'd the next in line, so hopefully we can keep this thing moving.

Great news! I've dragged this old computer out of my basement and did a fresh install of windows, so hopefully that will be up and running by tonight (installing now).

EDIT:

SUCCESS!
