Weaponizing fire with common dwarf's weapons ||idea||

simple enough, dump some wooden weapons in lava when someone attacks, a way to drain the lava, a way to retrieve the weapon, send that dwarf out to die, a way to stop the fire (!!WATER!!), profit.

Not to shatter your idea like a fragile porcelain figurine, but I'm fairly certain the wooden weapons would be destroyed before they could be used against an opponent. You would be better off lighting an artifact on fire, or something.

Flammable things flamm and are destroyed by magma, un flammable things are flamm'd by being cast into the magma sea. The BEST bet is coating it in dragons blood or beast syndrome, dragons blood because it's as hot as magma and beast syndrome becase... well..

nice idea, never thought of that, maybe a artifact that is on fire that is in a trap form.... testing it soon (lol this will take forever)

Oh god, I saw that picture, noticed how that stuff around his mouth looked like really melty cheese, and instantly started having a craving for pizza. Is this healthy?

yesterday i had a dwarf in adv. mode that was thrown to the roof by a ice minotaurs dust and his face melted off before he hit the ground, killed the thing to, some creature's came by the dust and started to get thrown around, i think i found the perfect weapon~!~

When they got an imp blood on equipment in Ardentdikes, dwarves using said equipment started dying immediately.

Yeah it...happens. sometimes it COATS armour/weapons/shields and makes it awesome, and sometimes it just melts the wearer. I don't know what the distinction between them is

I think Deathgate had a Red Monster sword or something, I really have no idea how it happened, but it set the user on fire even if they were decked out in candy. They ended up building a shrine for it because it was so dangerous.

It is perfectly normal to have attractions towards gore and dead people after playing dwarf fortress for more than ten minutes. Don't worry, you are just becoming more... special.

On another note, I hear that imps can cool down after long enough. I'm curious about the !!science!! behind temperature.
