I'd like to know what's wrong with it

It just segfaulted, it took almost an hour

It isn't the raws, it's dwarf therapist
Have you checked the core-dump?

Have you run memtest?  All of the segfaults I've received on a 64bit system have been due to memory issues (hardware) and not the applications that were segfaulting.

Oh, and most importantly, what exactly segfaulted?

And my final, and probably most important question -- did you the whole bottle?

I pictured it more as a race against time thing. Like he's in a space station that that's about to explode, or an assassin just broke into his house and he can hear them approaching the door.

So he asks a bunch of sociopaths and kitten eaters to do anything but watch it, record it and post it on youtube with the caption "LOL" and a backing tune of a Benny Hill chase?

Pretty much what would happen. If someone comes here asking about that odd slade structure they found, what will we do?

I'm just so upset

If I'd said nothing Toady One would have gone and looked and maybe found the problem

But I went in verbose from cannabis and added that I'd tried to shear bears at some point

Oh man, this happened to me once and it's actually a really simple fix.  You just have to the file and it'll solve your problems completely.

Everyone carefully check their fortresses for missing dwarves.

They sometimes escape and mess with raws, then post on forums about it.
