Toady One or someone would have looked at this save game for me except I went ahead and told them I edited the raws after world gen which I knew is forbidden, I was just scared it wouldn't load without the raws which I could have tried myself, I've tried now and it works fine but it will still crash I'm certain because editing the raws isn't what crashed it, dwarf therapist is

I know because there are legendary swordsmen everywhere that I never trained up, which isn't from the raw editing, which I didn't have to mention

Now I've got to try to figure out how to fix it myself again which if this was open source would be a lot easier

Am i right

I didn't know

I wanted it fixed so badly

The raw editing isn't what crashed it, dwarf therapist is, I had it compiled 64-bit and the word size is wrong

It gets the wrong head count too if I try to use it now. It's still going to crash without the raws. For the same reason, which is all I was worried about, that it would crash for a different reason if you didn't use the same raws but making them after world gen means no-one will look at it now

Which it really deserved, to be looked at

I'm a programmer and this is frustrating me

If the linux binary was compiled with -g (for gcc) I could just say where it's failing, it would probably tell me how to fix it myself using dfhack or a hex editor

But I tried using a debugger on this binary already and it doesn't give any useful information, there are no debug symbols or something I don't know

If you say -g0 you get no debug symbols but those are a good thing in this kind of case if it takes an hour to crash it's something totally stupid and obscure that could be worked around but I have no chance to know what

See it's not raw editing that caused it to crash I'm sure it was dwarf therapist

I edited the raws before I tried dwarf therapist I'm pretty certain
