Free, er, fishysticks or whatever internet currency is in vogue for whatever anime fan can identify the origin of my avatar pic.

At first I thought it said "MINE" and said to myself, "that's just awesome for DF", but when I watched the anime in HD it turned out to look more like "MINI"   :'(

I found a picture of a character from one of the first (and the best) video games I ever played, Chrono Trigger.

I remember it used to be a clean-shaven guy, but the original painting man features a beard.

Yeah, I traced it to look more like myself, though I'm not quite as strong jawed as the guy in the picture was. Then I added a penguin face during the penguin trend. That looks MUCH more like me, actually.

My new avatar is much, much cooler, though.

Some character in a book series I read. Called Druss the Legend, Deathwalker, the Captain of the Axe, the Silver Slayer, or the Axeman.

I don't remember where exactly, but I was looking to buy a "Ruins of Bevarast" album online, and the distro web page had the little plague doctor at the top. So I selfishly lifted it and claimed it as my own.
