Skyrunner, how about Curoi (Cu Roi in Celtic mythology), the god of cunning and disguises? Basically the rogue of the group. I noticed we lacked a dex heavy character. I'll write something for it if it works.

I play Mabinogi, my character's name is Eosri. He's on the Mari server, I think...
Recently bought one of the ice dragons. He is awesome in so many ways.

Also, I'd be cool with jumping in once you guys are done with your succubus fight or whatever. I'll try to keep tabs on the in-character thread.

Of course you can rewrite this if you don't like it. I took a stab at the level 1 stats, but I'm not sure if I got that right. Here is what I've written.

Curoi is the god of cunning and disguises. He is often portrayed as a red haired man with a grand beard and grey wings, but he has been known to change his appearance on a whim. Usually he travels the world wearing his sage green half-cloak with his bow and quiver. Curoi is an opportunist. He doesn’t act directly against any gods, but he instead leads and misleads them depending on what is most favourable. Many of the gods are either unaware of Curoi, or wary of him, such as Morighaan, who sees him as a chaotic god. The mark of Curoi grants high dexterity to the wearer, but their will is weakened, making them more easily swayed by their emotions and opinions.

Now if only the bow skills were cheaper...

Cheaper in money or AP? If it's AP, then everything is one unless stated otherwise, so there shouldn't be any worries there. For money, well, we'll see.

I meant costly in AP. IIRC, Crash Shot is THE single most AP-intensive skill in Mabinogi, and not exactly trivial to learn in the first place. But if that's all moot, then it's time to spam multi-target long-range attacks. Mwehehe.
Also, can't I craft arrows with Handicraft skill or something?
Aren't arrows also dirt cheap?

EDIT: After skimming through the threads, I hear that ammo is infinite? Oh, dear. OH DEAR. Now, which crafting skills to focus on... possibly blacksmithing...

If you don't need fletching, then maybe go for bowery and make some bows. Blacksmithing is nice, but it doesn't directly relate to your weapons.

Player-made equipment does tend to be better than the vendor-bought stuff in Mabinogi, but it seems like all the available bow recipes need a high Carpentry rank (short bows are a rank 9 recipe)... and decent weaving skill is needed to produce tough threads and stuff...

I think I might just go for blacksmithing regardless, to make myself decent armor and shields, and to extort you guys for money while I make higher-grade gear for you. Gonna need to take up refining, and weaving, and if alchemy is available, metal conversion and maybe fragmentation... and maybe synthesis...

Heh, I'm going to end up being a bit of a noncombatant =P but that's fine if we all stick together, you guys can protect me with the super-duper gear I make for you.

Hahaha. Staying together. Lillipad's character is already suspicious of me, and frankly I'm not surprised. Lets see, I'm conversing with demons, translating a monster's writings with ease, covered myself in monster blood intentionally, and calmly replied to Griph's threat where he held me at swordpoint. Yeah, I'm not exactly trustworthy. I might run off to a monster village for my own reasons after this.

Also, Donitz will receive a way to fight AND support at the same time at the end of the dungeon! Yay! (This is mainly because 100% support characters are rather boring IMO in fights)

I'm planning on giving Donitz's weapon another stat revamp, increase the max damage and setting the balance back to zero again, making every single hit luck. Pray, pray to the RNG! Muhwahwa!

I don't mind being pure support. I never played the game this is based off of, read the god description, saw 'tricks and handiness' and assumed the construction and use of traps would play a major role along the instrument. I signed up to be a support character, I just didn't think supporting would be so one dimensional. As long as I have many support options, and not just 'play instrument', I wont get bored.
