"That sounds great, Mellis. Thank you for your help, it will benefit my mission, and thus all of us."
Eosri accepts the trade and sets to work making the strongest set of armor he can with the skills (of everyone) available to him.

Donitz nods. "I'll seek you all out when it is time to party."

He then returns to the Alleyway and drop a note. "Found us a base of operations for now. Meet me tonight at the first abandoned house just outside the western gate. Bring the girl, and some camping supplies for her, seeing as we wont be able to get back in until morning. I'll fill you in on my plan. This is going to be hilarious!"

The bard then heads to the house to check it out, set up camp, and practice his music until Griph arrives.

Donitz scouted out the house. It was abandoned, with little dust, and not locked. Overall, it had weathered well. The walls were made out of stones, and the interior wood. It had a somewhat musty smell. Dontiz then waited.

Griph met Donitz.

For five hours, Eosri hammered, melted and riveted. Utterly spent by midday, he went home to eat lunch. He found that the arduous smithing work caused severe cramps, and couldn't keep on working. It is currently noon.

"Kecepe? Who is Kecepe? Are you trying to escape with a feeble tactic, human?" The hobgoblin growled and repeated, "Give up your struggling, human."

The masked goblin said, "Kecepe is a Fomorian name!" and was hit by the shield again.

I suppose I just need some time to rest before I continue, Eosri thinks to himself. In the meantime, I should see about finding a map, and brushing up on my navigational skills... I don't want to get lost in the desert.

Eosri goes and looks for someone to give him a map and a crash course on not getting lost.

Zario tried to hold back a laugh at the comment of escape, but a smile escaped him. "I'm not trying to escape. I just asked if you could take me to your village." He pressed his fingertips to the temples of his forehead. "Kecepe designed some artifacts related to the gods and I wanted to see if he had an idea how to bring back Kihol." Just then he realized that he could just show the Formorian mark, so he rolled his sleeve revealing the symbol on his upper arm. "Kihol gambled on me being able to bring him back, so I've been marked with his symbol. I thought that someone in a Formorian village might know who he was, and maybe where he is."

"No I don't. Me and a few of the guards are going to throw a party in this house pretty soon. Now wouldn't it be a shame if somebody were to tip off the Paladins that we had drugs or contraband at the party? One or two of them might walk into a house full of armed to the teeth guards who don't particular like the Paladins!"

Donitz drums his fingers on one of the walls. "All we need is a place, perhaps an hour or so from here by horse and well hidden, for us to interrogate whoever we catch and a horse drawn cart to get them quickly to the interrogation zone. Once we know for sure they are up to something, we figure out how to get rid of them all."

The bard strums a few notes. "What we need to do is find a place to host the interrogations. The further it is from here the longer it will take for search parties to find us, but we will also run a bigger risk of being caught with a cartload of Paladin. We need to booby-trap the hell out of this house, and wherever we run the interrogations in case we bite off more paladins than we can chew. We should probely run through a dungeon or find some other jobs so that we can afford a horse cart, interrogation equipment, and lots of hilarious traps!"

Turning to Lylis Donitz offers a bright smile. "You built that cool exile machine that my mean friend wrecked right? I bet you can help me build all sorts of fun 'party favors' for the Paladins to play with."

"You've basically doomed us. Paladins aren't against overkill in the name of 'justice' as they call it."

"Just trust my traps and tricks Griph, or the fact that the party-goers will be trained guards. If they send more than two or three we can can kick all their asses here with our surprises, clean up the evidence, and dump any spare Paladins back in the city. When they wake up they will not be able to figure out who to blame 'case we will all be wearing adorable masks! They will raise the alert and investigate, so we will have to be ready to attack right away if they are trouble, or get the hell out of dodge if they mean no harm."

Donitz sighs. "Even if they wanted to do overkill, they probably wouldn't send more than five or six guys at us. All they would be expecting is a bunch of harmless drugged up kids at a party. If they send more than we can handle, I have smoke bombs for escape. If things go wrong I will admit my failure and we can just attack the fuckers without knowing what is going on. I'm sure that is what you want to do right?"

Eosri goes and looks for someone to give him a map and a crash course on not getting lost.

"A map? But why would you need.... Ah, you are the one who goes to the human lands this year? Well, it's easy. I don't have a good map, but I do have a crude scribble. Here:"

"Navigation is easy. All you need is a 'Track Self' spell. Track Self is so easy, it doesn't have ranks!" The elf Eosri was talking to shook his head in amusement. " It tells you where you are on a map you are holding! I bet chief sells such a book!"

so I've been marked with his symbol.

The hobgoblin and the masked goblin both noticeably flinched. The hobgoblin grasped Zario's arm and pushed up his sleeve. The firm grip of the hobgoblin was quite frightening - it seemed it had the grasping power to crush a neck with its hands. "I see, true it is. Human, why are you human? Such a powerful mark is only found on high level Fomorians, human."

The masked goblin had the brains to shut up.

Lyliss ((which is the new spelling)) did not look at Donitz, and adverted her eyes. She did mumble, "... you won't believe the things they have done to us in the past...

EDIT: Added the two crude maps to the OOC thread OP! Because Eria is soooo huge, don't expect any better 'large' maps.

"Maybe Kihol intends for a human to bring him into the world. I'm not entirely sure myself, but I'd be happy to summon such a powerful god. All I need is the means to summon him." Zario pulled his arm back slightly, so that the hobgoblin would get the idea, and let go. "Are you willing to lead me to your village?" He glared at them, knowing that he might have some kind of status to the Formorians with his mark.

"If there's one thing I've learned from my studies, it's to never trust the paladins doing what you'd expect. They're like dark knights, only shiny. And annoying."

"I'm none to predictable myself. If worst comes to worst we use some smokebombs to escape, and leave this town to stew in its own juices. But lets worry about the Paladins when it comes time to pick a fight with the Paladins. For now let us worry about finding funds. What do we know about dungeons?"

"I did. But you sure as heck didn't give me too many details. Where is it, and do you think we are ready to tackle it?"
