Zario felt sore from gathering the wheat, but he got what he came for, blessed water. He walked back to the general store one last time to pick up the last of his supplies. After he finished packing the items into his pack he looked at the shopkeeper with a rather serious look. "You wouldn't happen to know of a nearby monster village?"

Griph bought a quiver of arrows for 2300 gold. He then inspected the iron armor: it was pretty good for Fergus, but shabby compared to some of the big-city armors he had seen on passing adventurers before.

Alex bought everything on his list for approx. 6700 gold. He then sauntered over to the foods store to buy two weeks' worth of bread, cheese and meat. He also bought some hardy fruit for taste and a tiny shaker of pepper and salt for the meat. He placed an order for some smoked meat and a steak. He then went to the nearby Adelia stream and slowly filled his waterskins.

As Zario bought a firekit and a bedroll for 1600 gold, he asked Malcom a question. He replied, "A monster village? No, Urla (this continent/nation) is a too secure place for any actual villages. Of course, there is the Shadow World in Taltin and Tara, and the troll, kobold encampment near Banhor, but no big settlements. If you go to Eria, though, you just might find some hiding in the great Maize Plain, or in the jungles of Koor."

Donitz reads the seven tools book, in hopes that it is the instructions for the trap set. He also reads the piece of paper he got in the treasure room.

It was what Donitz wanted. Although most of the traps were hard to understand, Donitz did get some basic traps (such as trip-wire) and gained better knowledge of the beartraps he already had. In addition, Donitz found a way to make a "stationary mass driver", which threw things he placed in the barrel.

The piece of paper says:

Zario was thankful for the storekeeper's lack of questioning. "Thanks. I'll keep that in mind." He shouldered the bag, now filled with supplies, walked away, and started heading in the general direction of Eria and the Maize Plain. He knew he wouldn't make it before nightfall, but there was something he needed to do away from the prying eyes of the village. He went out to the stables and seeked out a horse that ignored the smell of blood on his robes. If the horse were to travel with him it would see more blood than what's on his robes. When he found the most suitable horse he walked up to the stable owner. "How much do you want for that horse?" Zario pointed to the horse that he hand-picked.

"How much for the iron mail?"

Fergus looked at Griph for a moment, as if sizing him up, then called 92000. Of course, with Fergus's weak bluffing ability, Griph KNEW it was a lie.

"How much do you want for that horse?" Zario pointed to the horse that he hand-picked.

The traveling horse dealer glanced at the horse's tag, then called 99000, going on and on about its 'classy jet-black shade' and its 'long-range endurability' and its 'quick sprinting ability'.

"82,000 gold."

((I feel like I'm about to be robbed blind and that the price was set outrageously high. I bet the horse was only worth 30,000.))

"Old man, I'm not afraid to walk away with this armor without paying for it if you aren't willing to make a fair deal. Now, what's the actual cost."

Fergus eyed Griph again, then said the armor was 20000 gold in reality.

"82,000 gold."

((I feel like I'm about to be robbed blind and that the price was set outrageously high. I bet the horse was only worth 30,000.))

Eyup.

The horse dealer accepted 82000 with a face that said 'You are getting a deal, you theif!' His assistant's expression told Zario it was a lie.

The dealer held his hand out for the money.

Go to the Horse Place-Thing

Alex walked to the southern road that lead into Dugald Alley. There was a horse dealer and Zario. The dealer was holding his hand in a triumphant gesture.

"From the looks of it you just gave that guy a bad deal, now I want a horse at a reasonable price. I can tell what such a price is now think carefully about your next words." Alexander grasps the handle of his scythe for a moment, before pulling it away.

"You'd better not be lying about this horse, being a good horse." Zario placed the money his hand with a hand on the handle of his crimson blade. "If it turns out to be sickly or weak, you can expect a visit from me and I'll slit your throat myself." Zario smirked at the dealer, knowing that something was up with this deal. "But if you're telling the truth then you'll be just fine."

(Don't do that TF.)

Griph's arms were crossed. He stared Ferghus right in the eyes.
"Oh really now?"

((Sorry. Ignore that. I meant Alexander... So sorry.))

((If Alexander said that before I finished the deal I would have cut the dealer down.))

EDIT: ((It still works I suppose. No more edits I swear!))
