Zario was annoyed how everyone rushed past him while he walked into the next room, but it didn't matter. All the spiders would die, whether it was his hand or not it was guaranteed. He breathed out as he ran to the southeast, closing in on a lone spider. His blades felt light in his hands as he charged at the spider. His blades flashed in a sweeping motion in an attempt to hit the spider.

The two blades thunked into the body of the ragodesa and inflicted 29 damage, then flashed back for another 31. The final attack also gave 31 damage. The ragodesa skidded back, then gathered itself to charge ...

Continue to attack, but take on a defensive manner, if the ragedosa attacks then block it with the shaft of the scythe.

Alex paused for a moment, waiting for the ragodesa to make its move first. It twitched, then dashed foward hissing. It was greeted cordially by the shaft of the scythe (7 damage) then by the blade twice (34 and 23). This series of attacks was strangely weak, almost like Alex had hit every strong point possible. Rage and indignation rose within Alex, and he almost felt stronger, faster ...

Donitz sets up a bear trap in front of him and attempts to grab the attention of the northern most spider with a dagger throw.

Donitz kneeled and set up a bear trap in the fray. He then threw his trusty dagger at the one unoccupied ragodesa, which promptly responded and ran at Donitz. It noticed the bear trap and  stepped to the side, but one of its legs brushed the bear trap and got caught (27 damage)! The ragodesa was immobilized and screeched in fury. It spat at Donitz, but Donitz stepped to the side and avoided!

Before Zario could be attacked, Thrainn dashed over and slammed it with his kite shield. The ragodesa received 14 blunt damage and skidded back. It stood there for a moment, torn between Zario and Thrainn, before crawling towards Thrainn.

Step in and deliver a quick lute strike to the trapped and immobilized one. Try not to stick around long enough to allow a counter melee attack.

Zario stood at the ready. His blades were held at the sides to make the spider think it could charge with ease. Little did it know that Zario was going to rip it to shreds if it dared to even take a step towards him.

Griph noticed Donitz had trapped a mostly uninjured ragodesa and decided his services were best used over there.

"Duck Griph." Alexander yelled as he quickly spun his body, and scythe in a whirlwind of motion trying to catch both spiders near him off guard.

Step in and deliver a quick lute strike to the trapped and immobilized one. Try not to stick around long enough to allow a counter melee attack.

Donitz crashed his lute on the ragodesa's head (34), and drove the ragodesa into the bear trap, inflicting 5 extra spike damage. Slimy ragodesa fluids coated the back of Donitz's lute.

>Assist Donitz in killing trapped ragodesa.

Griph attacked the trapped ragodesa again, two times for 37 damage, then another twice for 45 damage. It shuddered with each blade slashing its carapace, and almost looked like it was deflating.

"Duck Griph." Alexander yelled as he quickly spun his body, and scythe in a whirlwind of motion trying to catch both spiders near him off guard.

The one ragodesa that was alone got a scythe in its face for 86 fortified damage and also was hit in a vital spot. Its face was neatly cut off and flew away in an arc. Coins, a yellow key and two pieces of snow-white paper with writing on it fluttered to the floor. The trapped ragodesa was bisected for 36 damage and died, spewing coins everywhere along with a log.

Griph almost caught a scythe in the face, were it not for Alex's warning. He dropped and skidded out of reach.

On the floor: 2500 gold, 2 medium health potions, 1 dirty bear trap, 1 yellow key, 1 log, and 2 pieces of white paper with writing on them.

Donitz takes a potion and share of the cash, then cleans off his bear trap and lute.

OOC: I might be mistaken, but if I counted right, we only killed 2 out of 3 ragodesa last round. Let's do the looting after we're done, kay?

Seeing the Ragodesa approach, Thrainn raised his shield, and waited for an opening.

The only spider left is going after you, so why should the rest of us bother with it?

Oh. In that case lute rush the spider first, then perform my loot actions once it dies.

Well, I'm probably gonna be fine. I just felt that someone should point it out.

Thrainn's sword met the body of the final ragodesa. 23, 54 (critical!) and 20 damage finished it off. The remaining 2000 gold was evenly split into 500 each and given to the four people who hadn't claimed a share. Everyone received 150 experience each and leveled up twice. Some people have skills that may be advanced for 1 AP.

Thrainn also learned Critical Mastery, which can increase your critical success rate.

The next room has four dark red crystal orbs on thin pillars, and a door locked with a dark red lock.
