Donitz waits for the others to catch up. "Somebody should open the door and lure whatever is on the other-side into the traps... If you guys can wait up a second first, I'd like to read this first..."

Donitz attempts to become familiar with the sheet music, so as to be able to play it in the final room.

Donitz turns to Griph and whispers back with a shrug. "He doesn't seem all that nice, dose he? Eh. I trust him not to stab us in the back while we are on the same team for this blasted test."

Donitz reads over the sheet and familiarizes with its melody, reducing the chance of making a mistake.

Zario charges up 5 instances of Firebolt, using 20 mana in the process. Also, Donitz has already set up three beartraps on the entrance to the boss room. Does anyone open the door?

"Here goes nothing then... I hope everybody is ready to do this!"

Donitz opens the door but dose not yet enter the room...

Donitz carefully slides the door open, and succeeds in not making a sound. He peered into the room from the side of the portcullis, and then almost gasped from shock. There, standing in the middle of the room, was one succubus
Spoiler: this kind (click to show/hide)
and four metal skeletons. Also scattered around the room was a number of trolls holding various junk like white rocks, red rocks, shattered scrap metal and a large log. One ogre was walking away from the succubus into ... seemingly, the wall, before it slid out of vision through the wall somehow.

Donitz was quietly despairing: a succubus was one of the most strongest Fomorians and not an easy foe even when alone; this one had a huge workforce of trolls and four elite skeletons as a guard. At least the succubus was looking the other way.

Then, behind them, a pleasant and familiar female's voice said, "Hello."
Quietly, of course. The voice belonged to Lasa, who had a stick with a small snowflake design in metal on the end. Behind her was old Raynold, also grasping a huge two-handed sword almost his height.

"We were worried when you took almost five hours for a basic spider squashing run, so we came to help," Lasa said. "Think of it as an extra credit-test thingymajig. Use your collective brains to come up with a plan."

"Because," Raynold admitted, "those monsters are not exactly the kind your average retired veteran and young mage can take care of." He was poked by Lasa's elbow. She grabbed his ear and furiously whispered something. Raynold amended unconvincingly, "Actually, we can take care of those, but we won't for your sake."

He was elbowed again. Of course, because he was wearing armor, the elbow-er was more hurt than he.

Reos blacked out, and slumped over onto the wall before sliding down it. Within moments his mind faded, and was replaced by Alexander who stood up shook his head, and said "Just ignore what just happened as I would rather not explain. Any who anyone who is hurt come here." With a flourish Alexander pulled out his wand, and set to work healing up everyone he could.

Heal everyone who is hurt including me.

"I think I've got something worked out. You, the trigger-happy scythe maniac, stay near the back and try to keep those heal spells ready just in case. Everyone who can't attack from range more than once, stay by a trap. Pyromaniac and I will draw the trolls and skeleton with our spells. We shouldn't leave this room if we can help it."

Donitz, for lack of a better way to contribute, waits for the madness to start and begins to play his new melody while standing by a beartrap.

With a shimmering sound (whatever that may be), a pale blue oval forms in front of Donitz!

((Maybe I won't be suicidal this time.))

Zario looked over the situation calmly. The enemies were surrounded, but he had no idea what kind of strength they had. "Take out the five surrounding their leader. We don't want to get surrounded taking out the demon." He drew his blades, freshly cleared of blood and got into a low stance, almost as if he was ready to charge at any second. "I'm not sure why I even bothered putting these blades away! Lets do this!" Zario broke his stance and started throwing firebolts at the group in an attempt to catch the attention of the monsters. With a flash of light the red spheres that circled him vanished as several firebolts hurtled towards the skeletons. He stepped forward as the bolts fired. Little did the others know that he planned to run back as soon as the enemies took the bait.

Once a trap catches something it'll be an easy target, and he can render their bones to a fine powder with his blades.

"Damnit the idiot ..." Alexander said as he charged after Zario. All the while he charged straight at the Succubus, and as he went to attack he screamed "Morrigan Guide my blade, and lend me your strength!!!"

Attack the Succubus. Pray to Morrigan for the power to defeat my foe.
