Griph drew his saber and held it to Zario's throat.
"I'm. Not. Interested."

Zario's grin widened. "I've noticed. Now will you lower that blade, or are you going to cut me down? Somehow I don't think that would look very good on your test evaluation, now would it?" His grin shrunk down into a smirk, but it wasn't any less annoying. "You don't have to show me the papers, but you'll just have to deal with me for now. Got it?"

Alexander looked over at the two of them arguing away, and gave a grin before saying "Shut up, and drop it before I kill you both for being annoying ..."

>Wait for everyone to finish smashing chests from a safe distance.
Donitz giddily smashes a chest with his Lute!
I guess official chest smashing duty falls to Donitz with his extreme luck.

The first chest splintered and broke in one go, spitting out one book and one piece of paper!
The second chest splintered and was destroyed by the second dispension of lute justice, spitting out two logs, a 'Stamp' Composite Bow('Stamp' is a prefix enchantment), and eight piles of 1000 gold each! (It was a 97)
The third chest opens itself without any violence needed and empties 1400 gold!
The fourth chest has ten bandages!
The fifth chest has five pieces of paper in it!
The sixth chest spawns three ragodesa!
The seventh chest has three apples and a pear in it!
The eighth chest spawns one small stone golem!
The ninth chest is empty!

Tactical map

On the ground is 9400 gold, ten bandages, a Stamp composite bow, two logs, two apples, a pear, five pieces of white paper with writing on it, one book, another piece of paper and three ragodesa along with one small* stone golem.

*Here, small means "just a little bigger than a man"

Donitz notices he is in a perfect position to be ganged up upon and slaughtered, so he raises the lute and begins to play like his life depends on it!

"Dear spiders, dear spiders, please look over there!
Somebody has robbed your treasure chests bare.
Who could have done it, now who could of it been?
Alas the crook is nowhere to be seen.

Dear golem, dear golem, rocky and proud...
If you think we be the theifs you got the wrong crowd!
I saw the theif bolt through yonder door...
So please don't kick our collective ass to the floor."

Donitz holds the lute high, almost above his head, as he plays so as to bring it down with full force on anything dumb enough to interrupt his tune.

Donitz's tune irritates two of the three ragodesa! They turn to Donitz and start crawling to attack.

Griph notices Donitz in danger and readies his saber and an ice bolt.
>Help Donitz get to safety.
Griph dashes in and attacks one of the two ragodesa and deals 63 (critical) damage with two slashes. An ice bolt flies out and deals 24 damage. The second round of swords deals 25 damage between themselves.

move towards the ragodesas, and attempt to get the attention of one of them
Thrainn slams a ragodesa with his shield. It receives 14 damage and goes flying.

Meanwhile, Donitz hits the slammed ragodesa with a overhead swing. It was squished due to a lucky strike and received 62 damage. Its legs were mangled, and it couldn't possibly move anytime soon.

Alexander walks up to the golem, and looks up at it before saying 'Hmmm .. why don't you help us? Come to our side, and you can finally be free from this place."

Donitz performs a hit and run on the immobile one.
In other words, Donitz smashes his lute on the ragodesa again just out of reach.

The ragodesa popped and died, dropping some gold. (28 damage)

>Continue attacking the nearby ragodesas with icebolt and swords.

Thrainn POWERSLAMed the ragodesa Griph was attacking, knocking it away and dealing 13 damage. Griph used that opening to cast one instance of icebolt and shot it into the hideous arachnid's under-body, dealing 25 points of damage. Then, he pounced on the downed ragodesa (Griph understood the skill Downed Attack!), and split the helpless bug into five pieces. It dropped a potion.

Alexander walks up to the golem, and looks up at it before saying 'Hmmm .. why don't you help us? Come to our side, and you can finally be free from this place."

((Alexander=Normal Self, Reos=Berzerker Self))

Alex walked up to the golem, which was currently laid on the floor. He offered, "Why don't you help us? Come to our side, and you can finally be free from this..." He was interrupted mid-sentence and was hit by a huge arm of talc (27 damage).  He flew clear across the room and thudded into the wall (5 damage). The talc golem roared a gruff sound and stood up. It was made of 6 ovoid sections, two pillars of arms, two large, white body sections, and two leg-pillars that flattened out to be venerable stomping surfaces.

Alexander blacked out, and his mind slid away as he hit the wall. In his place Reso came to the surface, and he stood up. His eyes were filled with anger, and hatred "Now your dead you over-sized lump of stone." Reso quickly drank two of the health potions, and then moved. He was fast, an was across the room, and attacking the golem with all he had before it could react.

Drink 2x Small Health Potions, and Attack the golem. Run in a circle around it attacking as much as possible while dodging its attacks (Or trying at least)
