Is the washing machine on and running while it's tied to the chain?
Its probably on, and full of cats while tied to the chain.

Or lawbreaking tomatoes.

Sheriff: Come with me citizen. You have broken the law.

Tomato:

Sheriff: I will not warn you twice.

Tomato:

The spinning washing machine strikes the Tomato in the everything.

The everything explodes, spinning off in a bloody arc.

There's not a way to get flail-like weapons to work accurately, is there? Otherwise I'd mod in razor-blade filled washing machines on chains...

Unfortunately, no. The closest you'll get is a razor-blade-filled washing machine on a stick.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.

That will do...for now...right. Now to put ten of them in a weapon trap

Load that stick in a ballista.

Problem solved.

I can just imagine the invaders' reaction to a weapon trap like that.

"Alright men, conquering a dwarf fortress is no easy task, and many of our kin have fallen attempting it. But this time, It will be different. We have greater numbers, more raw power, and the support of demons from the very pits of h-"

*sees washing machines of death trap*

"Nevermind. Siege is off. Let's head back."

Isn't wearing a crundle leather thong basically the same as wearing someones taint to cover your- oh you mean the chitinous little bastards who live in caverns. Carry on good sir. May i suggest the double spin cycle? It's popular with the fortress executione- i mean, Sherriff

This thread transitioned from bone weapons to washing machines rather quickly.

Dwarves passing by get good thoughts from the mist of water and exploding felines.
Anyone of the equivalent to the royal bloodline in a nomadic group would have a sun tattooed on their hand, or a scrotum on their forehead (it's a little-known fact that fraternities are based off of long-forgotten tribes).
