Oh lord, this is like the Oscar acceptance speeches...there's just too many people to name. Ditto what has been said regarding the forums as a whole. The signal-to-noise ratio is amazingly high, and much of the "noise" is at least entertaining noise.

Even the people I disagree with, I can disagree with vehemently but civilly. And then we're all bros in the next thread.

Some specific shoutouts:

KaelGotDwarves for all the server hosting and fire dancing.
scriver for being a reliable audience member to watch my Asian film livestreams, despite it being "oh-dear-god-the-sun-is-coming-up" time for him.
MaximumZero for being a fellow slave to our corporate overlords, and for being the best facepuncher.
MetalSlimeHunt, Footkerchief and freeformschooler (among others) for being fellow Carolinians and all-around hoopy froods.

I'd like to nominate Kael and other DFCers and forumites because of his/their work in making such a good steam community. Kaels tireless (haha) work on the minecraft/Teamspeak server and other gaming ventures have kept the community alive and chugging along tastily : D

Well they're not really om-nom-nominations. You just pick out some people who you like and feel could use some love, then explain why they win. You can do it with as many people as you like, as many times as you like, with as many people as you like.

It's just a way to public declare how certain people are appreciated.

I'm thinking maybe if this thread catches on, I'll come back in a month or something and write down all the nice things people said and send them off in PM's to the people they were said about.
