You know who I would like to thank? Everybody with a pony avatar, or is otherwise interested in that show.
Now I'm really not into the pony thing, I see no appeal at all, but you guys have pretty much managed to keep your fandoms in a single thread, and for internet standards that is fucking amazing.
Seriously, everywhere else on the internet there is always that kid who runs into the thread and attempts a pony hijack. No matter what, they are always there. And then if you tell them to shut their god damn horse loving clap trap, somebody thinks they are being educated when they tell me that pony boy has a right to like what ever they like. Well yes they do, but I have a right to a conversation without this random mindless nonsense.
So thank you, pony fans of b12, for being the only part of the fanbase with the sanity for me to respect you.

Deon for being an example to follow in modding (my troll mod wouldn't exist if Genesis mod didn't!)

narhiril for going above and beyond the call of duty in helpfulness. I asked for help with my mod, she fixed all my problems at once. It was all body work, but still. I had no idea at the time how to do that. Her example is what I follow today on the modding board. Yeah, one action from someone else shaped my whole character on this forum. Who'd have thought?

ToadyOne and ThreeToe for being the most active administrators I've seen and for being the ONLY admins I've seen that happen to clean up the most annoying thing on forums ever, derails. (also both for making Dwarf Fortress, but that's not as much a forum thing )

I'd like to thank everyone who's taken me seriously during some of the wackier debates here. One of the smartest and most open minded communities I've been a (minor) part of. I come back mainly for the intelligent discussion.

Max White for helping me realize that my original impression of you (not liking you that much) was knee-jerk and mean and you're actually a great guy.
Janet because even though we both changed and drifted apart, I still look back on the times we shared with fondness. You were a big part of helping me shape my sense of identity when I was just going through the 'awkward ball of grease and nerves' stage.
Blargityblarg for somehow becoming my friend in real life. That was weird.
Tack for bugging me long enough to see how awesome a friendship with you would be. Also you got my back in Shogun 2 bro.

This Forum for being instrumental in developing my writing style to what it is today, from the 'well sir thatk you for your help because you have made my fortress just that much better and i thank you' that it was three years ago, a skill that puts me lightyears ahead of all of my friends in real life who still type like I did when I was 13, a fact I discovered and exploited brutally after getting Facebook.

Oh and if I missed you, and I'm sure I did, I'll probably add it later. But till then, I didn't forget you, I just haven't had coffee yet and my brain isn't working.

I don't think this thread really qualifies as a circle-jerk. The last one certainly did because it was set up as a competition, but this thread is just for any praise that forum members wish to give out, so it's benign.
