A Terrible Give-Away Thread
« on: December 20, 2011, 08:14:28 pm »

I have a STEAM game I want to give away.   It's a mystery.

The entrance procedure is thus:  Explain the Categorical Imperative in the most amusing way possible.  I have left the exact definition of amusing up to those who wish to enter.  Style points will be awarded for those that go beyond merely explaining it and venture into the realm of defending or castigating it.  Make it perfect!

I will declare a 'winner' and a 'runner up' once there are five (5) qualifying entrants.

Horrible mistake.
A thing, action, or general plan that you do forever, and is in itself it's own goal.
An example is "Always eat your vegetables" and the goal is that you eat all your vegetables.
So kill your wives, so all your wives are dead. Farm your farms, so your farms are farmed. But that brings up the question, can you farm the farms farming your farms?

I believe I committed a horrendous atrocity to grammar.

If it's the latter I don't really get it.

It's Capn, so it's real, but really frickin' hard. If he gives us something that's $2.50, I'll cry.

Can't tell if serious or sarcastic.

Regardless, I'm not going to explain the Categorical Imperative anyhow.

Let me clarify that the emphasis is on the end product being 'amusing' perhaps more than it is on 'correct'.

It's probably a sprite pack DLC for one of those WWII hex board games.

Or it's Skyrim.

Ill give it a shot, philospy in a foreign language, this cant be good.

In the planet ImpCateg pace and prosperity abounded for a hundred years, every one respected the 3 rules and they were happy with it. Robert woke up that morning and decided to change things a little, he lied, stole and killed. Lord Robert its now the ethernal ruler of this lands, his subjects eternal slaves, not by force but by 3 laws.
