Temporarily take mental command of one of the other blobs, and have it explore to the east.

Then have another explore to the west.

If this is impossible, pop out the end of the snakes tail and continue exploring. Although perhaps it was fleeing from something as well?

Rats were chased by something worse, now the goblins are probably being chased by somethig worse.

Any way. Can we command these blobs? If not try and figure out a way to conrtol or otherwise influence them.

We will become a KING SLIME.

the rats ran from something worse, yes. But the rewards were massive. I say get to the left of the new blobs and stand ground, either forcing the other blobs to stay still or to move to the right. If the goblins are more powerful than expected, or the thing their running from arrives, we have a nice cushion of blobs to take the hits for us first.

Considering most of the blobs are being pushed out side of the hole, we can probably have them swarm the goblins. Then  when whatever monster (probably a dragon) comes We can watch them attack, kill or get defeated and then reap the spoils ourselves. All while from the safety of our hidey hole.

Even if all the blobs are killed, we could recycle their dead remains...

I don't even think we'd need to command the blobs to feed, they'd just end up being pushed into the goblins...

I sorta pity those goblins. I mean think of how they're day was going,
"Zorg'auz Are we having roast blind cave rat again?"
" Stop your bitching it all ther- Oh god dragon GTFO!"
then they run into an almost inifinte horde of blobs Blocking the only possible escape path. That has gotta suck.

We should probably eat some more of the snake first, gain some of our HP back. Unless the whole "miracle" of life part implies we're back at full HP :d
