Have skittle eat the lizard corpse is what I meant. While Blob hides in the hole of safety.
I think it's a corpse. It looks dead, and honestly I don't think Prismatic slime are very choosy about what they eat.

Eat the lizard corpse and take it's hard scales...or turn the protein into stuff to help your spikes...multi spike attack.

See those little x's in its eyes? That means it's dead, the reason the cave rats don't get x's is because they have no eyes. Well we've eaten cave lichen, rocks, cave rats, spiders and were planning to eat a old bone, so no, I don't think they're particularly choosy eaters.

I'd think you should eat the rat corpse to restore your health, but if you guys really want skittles to eat it...

I vote for running and hiding. But If it goes the other way and we spend time eating when we should be running, I say we cram ourselves down the lizards throat and eat it from the inside, That way if that roaring sound is a larger angry version of the Lizard it probably wont kill us in vengence. Plus we may be able to use the corpse as a body puppet.

THIS. If it's the parent, we could even infiltrate its nest and devour the rest of its young. As well as gain access to a new location...

Mind you, that sort of thing really isn't unknown for blobs. Sliding down somethings throat, dissolving it's insides, and wearing the skin like a costume is pretty standard for the intelligent kind.

But no, I still think it's a bad idea. Devour rat, drag dragon baby to rat hole, have skittles ambush hide in puddle, and devour dragon corpse in the safety of the tunnel.

There was a battle of Wesnoth campaign based around it, though they were called slimes (same difference).

I've seen it in a couple games and like once in a book, but it's hard to look up. :/

Pretty much any abberation can fit this. Also Slither the movie.
Though mind you I'd prefer if you left all the corpses and fled to your hole of safety.

Isn't lungworm a worm? Also, we have two in favour of winged red lizard body puppet and 2 in favour of eating the corpse and fleeing(At lest that's how I interpret Drago's suggestion), we don't have a clear consensus.

There was something similar in Terror From the Deep, the sequel to XCOM UFO Defense. Slime-based lifeforms would kill deep sea divers and enter their pressure suits so they could walk around on land and use tools.
