use skittles as bait, jump on the spider the second it try to catch him with its net, and eat it whole.
Then use skittles and presumably blob3 as stairs to grab the rat.

I am intrigued by our acid.

If we were to say, engulf some rocks...

Would our acid be strong enough to react with native metals...

And give blobby 3/skittles II enough hydrogen...

You could do that, your offspring are stupider than you though, since they aren't possessed by otherworldy spirits and are just normal slimes; as such they can't do something as complex as escaping from a webnet or grasp such a advanced concept as climbing up a well thanks to a sticky substance on their bodies.

Well shooting rocks are out of the question, what if we just stop moving MOVE REAL SLOW LIKE TOWARDS SKITTLES 2 stop moving right? Spiders are really light sensitive, and we are a clear blob so it shouldn't be able to see us. So that means it senses our movements through vibration.

So if we stop moving, it will no doubt go after the wriggling blind cave rat / skittles 2, which means we'll be able to pick up the rock and...
