This is probably due to the interaction between the mod you're using and Dwarf Therapist. DT can't (or at least doesn't) actually tell the difference between genders; it assumes the first caste in any gendered species is male, and every other caste is female. As such, if the mod you're using has more than two castes, every one but the first will be marked as female in DT, even if they actually include males among them.

To check whether they're actually all female or not, you're going to have to check their sexes manually. Preferably, you know, using the Units screen and their preferences rather than with your hands

It's wrong. Only Earth Pony males will show up as male.

Note that there's a special caste-compatible version of DT that was made for the Genesis mod. You'll have to update the caste_default.txt file with the MLP caste names, but that's not difficult to do.

So, I've heard a bit about DT, but never actually used it (due to using a Mac, which no utility seems to work with).  What is the point of it?  Is it really that much more effective than simply doing things manually?

OP: I totally got the wrong idea when I read the title of the thread. I thought this was some new dwarven plan to get rid of births. I was imagining the cruel destruction of every poor male that happened to wander by. A haven for feminist dwarves, probably... But isn't there a MLP version of Dwarf Therapist somewhere?
