I'm a male on the internet, so I literally think making friends is a bad idea and something I don't want to happen, especially when it's someone I've just met and shouldn't rightfully expect anything from at all. If there's a girl I've just met, and who I like, it would be a supreme travesty to gain a good friend out of the deal.

Seriously though, you just met her? Get to know her. Be a good person, not a creepy. Don't try to manipulate the situation specifically to Get With Her, because, well, that's creepy as shit. Whatever you do, be honest with her.

"Making a move" isn't, er, always commendable. It shows assertiveness, but assertiveness is not always applied in a positive or constructive fashion. We can't just pretend that being aggressive as hell and diving into things head-first is always a good or safe idea, especially when he's that young.
