I saw this video today:

It's quite funny.

Oh, I guess I should probably read into the thread a little bit to find out it's being vehemently condemned before I bump it to the top.

Ok, where is this other thread.  I thought I'd dip in and find the thread that I've heretofor not used because I found the latest Darths'n'Droids webcomic page to be a happiness-inducing, wide-grin-making strip... yes, and a bit of a spontaneous joyous laugh.  And I made it all the way to page six of the General Discussion forum before finding this apparently duplicate thread...  (Loads of threads for RAGEing, etc.)

Anyway, so... I still found the Darths'n'Droids strip worthy of note.  But obviously it only means something if you're been keeping track of it, and I won't spoil it for you.

The name changes fairly often, but it's the largest thread on the forums FFS

Ah...   I'd only grokked the "hate" bit of the title, and classed it with the RAAAAAAAGE and WTF threads.

Never mind.  Nothing to see here.

It's not a particularly obvious title, unless you're used to the changes as most of the people who post regularly around GD are.

Except for the whole (happy thread) that's always at the end. And the page count.

Well (and I wasn't going to perpetuate this imposter on the boards any more but I have to in order to repeat...) I obviously stopped reading after the word "hate".

And I wouldn't put it past a hate thread being that large!

But I'm more a dabbler than some in both upper and lower forums.  Titles pique my interest (or I get the wrong idea, and read them because I think they're about something else), usually in the "unread posts since..." display, if there's not already a whole lot of "new replies to your posts..." needing at least checking to see whether it's worth paying attention.  (I wish there was a better "add/remove from watchlist"-style function than "posting to watch" and... well, ignoring them if one no longer wanted to.)

And so, anyway, I knew the Happy Thread existed, probably at a moment in time when it said Happy Thread more obviously...  And, really, I was still full of the joy of spring (following on from the aforementionedalluded-to web-comic developments, and so throwing caution to the wind...

Ah well.  'Nough said.  Still nothing to see here but a bit of a rambling tale with no real point.
