And, as much as I normally like throwing magic at a problem, I'd rather not get disowned again before we learn something new.

Basically this.

You decide to summon some vegetables from Ye Olde Randome Vegetable Table, a curious little stand in the market owned by a purveyor of vegetative miscellany. You manage to acquire a squash, a brussel sprout, a walnut, a clove of garlic, a sack of mung beans and an onion before the owner catches on to what you're doing and demands that "you pay, lest I smack ye about the chops". It appears that you are not the most stealthy of enchanters.

Returning to Mad Old Yuif, you find him with a cup of boiling water for you and a cup of tea with a lemon for him. "You look a bit young to drink, so I got you some nice warm water. Have some, it's good!" After tea, he tells you that you're to dice the vegetables with a copper blade and then brew them all seperately in the silver tins to get some spirits. This is, apparently, useful for alchemical processes of some sort.

While you're dicing vegetables and trying to figure out how to ferment a mung bean, Yuif is working on some sort of contraption involving a funnels, a half dozen waterskins and some women's hosery. Eventually he manages to finish whatever it is he's working on and tells your to pair off the brews so they can be amalgamated

You need to decide what vegetables to pair with eachother. Garlic with sprouts? Walnut with mung bean? Squash with garlic? It's up to you.

You mix the garlic with the onions, the squash with the walnuts and the sprouts with the beans. Mixing the diced vegetables together is fairly simple, as is the brewing process. Apparently you just put it in the water and let it stew! Who'd have known?

The next morning, you figure out what the contraption Yuif was creating is intended to do: It traps the fumes leaking out of the barrels of brew he's had you make. Is it supposed to be fuming? You're not entirely sure. Regardless, you now have 3 jars of unusual fumes. What do you want to do with them?
