Head to the mountains with your loot in tow, then look for a primitive tribe; looking for some advanced tribe might just get you shot down instead.

Negotiate a deal with the tribals: You protect them, in exchange that they give a larger cave for you to sleep in, protect your hoard and worship you.

If you get a new cave, put your stuff inside it.

Finally, be adorable while doing all that.

Also, prefer mountainsides near the river. More food, higher chances of meeting a tribe! The cliff wall also makes some nice ground for making your own cave.

Most creature grow a huge amount in their first year and slow down after, so we probably won't get to much bigger.

Yearly growth will slow for sure, but I doubt time skips will ever be just one year again, and we're most certainly going to grow quite a bit larger. I think I remember the cave being called rather small earlier by Araph, so I'd wager by the end we'll be about three times this size, give or take a few feet.

Full agree, if they are primitive then whats the sight of a giant flying dragon be to them? If they're civilized then more so.

Obviously we're from Australia and have in instinctual knowledge of its wild life.

One useful thing you can do for shadows is draw the light source the shadows will always be in the opposite direction of the source and the smaller the angle of the light source to the surface the shadow is upon the longer the shadow. More tips will come if I think of them, but it may be of note that I am completely self taught and still learning how to do certain things, so don't take my advice as from an expert.

(Thanks to Phantom, I can exactly see where the shadows are now. Also, if you're doing mountains, then remember that most are just uphill slopes and dirt. Otherwise, jagged rock and moss. Can you draw moss btw?)
