You tear the strings and wires out of your flesh (ow) and grab the soldier's M16. It's quite heavy. You then drag the corpse along so you can eat it as you open the door, and look outside. To the left of you is a fuckton of rotting corpses that pop culture osmosis makes you assume them to be "Zombies". To the right, there is a woman with dyed blue hair and a redheaded man who are currently arguing amongst each other.

"For fuck's sake, you attracted hundreds of them by killing one!" The woman screams.

"Look, I didn'--" The man then looks at you. "Holy crap! There's someone still alive... Wait, it's a kid! Come on!"

The undead notice your prescence, and shuffle slightly faster towards you.

Tell our sidekick to hold them off while you catch up with the duo.

You fire at the undead, wildly. You kill a few of them, but more keep coming! You yell to your sidekick to hold them off while you catch up with your new two best friends! But quickly, your sidekick is overwhelmed. You salute your dear sidekick, and run like hell towards the two people. You notice them more clearly. The red-headed fellow is wearing a t-shirt reading "MAMA ZOOKS! THE PIE IS LOADED" with a graphic of a horse loading a pie into a cannon, cargo pants and a medical mask, and seems about 30. The blue haired girl is wearing a hoodie, backpack and eyeglasses, and is probably in her mid-twenties.

"Right. I'm Dylan, she's Cass, what's your name?" He asks.

"John Egbert, fine sir!" You respond. "What's with the undead?"

"We'll explain when we are not being murdered by zombies." Cass responds.

CASS AND DYLAN HAVE JOINED THE PARTY! FOR NOW!

Damn. The door was blocked off.

>Keep shooting the zombies. Actually AIM this time.

OOC: Is it really me who's being the only practical zombie apocalypse survivor guy? LISTEN TO MY ADVICE!!! You never know when this might actually come in handy...

OOC: I have no idea what you're talking about. All of my advice thus far has been entirely practical.

Oh, sure, as if DRAGGING A CORPSE everywhere you go is practical. You didn't mention the use of a firearm. I did.

Hey, that's no way to talk about our brave sidekick! Damn, you're right about the firearm though. We should have given it to our sidekick so that he could of bought us more time....

you're right about the firearm though. We should have given it to our sidekick corpse
And lose any chance of surviving the streets? What if the gun shop isn't until the next town?

A corpse is a corpse, and a corpse can't move under its own power. It's dead, Jim. How is an inanimate corpse going to fend off reanimated ones???

Wait until we are out of trouble and then kill and loot our companions!

They don't appear to be carrying anything of interest.
