I assume that when they find your remains, it's gonna be like apes finding an obelisk in the middle of a pile of bones.  Or going on mars and finding alien technology.
Most of the remains are buried. Also, either the dragons or the chimaera will hopefully have built a city on top of him before end of the Age of Titans, so there should be a ruined city to dig through before reaching him.

But yeah, if the people of Clocktown start digging deep into their basements, they would quickly learn that the clocktower is not the only piece of interesting technology around them. Perhaps with technological advancement they will be able to salvage bits and pieces of Tick's corpse. Perhaps eventually salvage all of it, and REBUILD HIM.
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-yeah that's never happening.

I don't care how many remains you buried, if I was a caveman and I found the clock tower of the Palace of Westminster with Big Ben bonging out the hours, I'd be flipping out.

I dunno, that looks ok to me.

Heh heh heh heh heh. (but seriously no that would be stupid)

But there'll be UnLiving ruins all over Balin (not to mention the ruins of the other civilizations). For the sentients at the start of the Age of Gods flip out every time they come across a set of technologically advanced ruins they'd have to have no cultural memory at all.

All the ruins are underwater, on floating islands, or on a moon.

Working on Turn 1 intro now.  Turn 0 outro is complete, map still needs work.  Ardas, if you want a god in, better post a template now or it'll be second turn before you can get in.  =P

Also, yes.  That is totally what the Chimaera look like! XD

How weak are our abilities right now? Can we say...bring about an apocalypse with our current power, or are we much more limited?

Very weak.  You can make one change or small effect - you can save someone, modify a pair of creatures into a new subspecies, modify a plant, supercharge someone for whatever challenge, curse someone, teach a technology to someone or shift the tide of fortune for an entire battle e.g. by luck or good leadership (without fighting it directly).  To start things, you may need to manipulate mortals.  In fact, you probably will need to manipulate mortals to start off.  Your initial power is tied to worship or belief - not in your existence, but in your power.  If people believe you are powerful, you can channel enough essence to actually be powerful.  Positive feedback cycle, see?

Here goes nothing:

Name of God: Val Aurum
Titles: none (yet)
Description of Character: Relatively quiet, but willing to come forth and assist those seeking arcane knowledge, regardless of purpose. He is amoral, but willing to infuse mortals with his energies and guide them. Likes intelligent discussions, wit and quick tongue. Despises bluntness, physicality and simplicity.
Spheres: Arcane Energy (Magic)
Manifests as: Old man, with long white hair but no beard. Wears long black tattered robe. Eyes are blue and lightly glowing.
Characteristic Animal: spider
Secondary source of Power: none(yet).
Divine responsibility: none (yet)

If you want any adjustments and corrections, I'm happy to make them. Spider webs are reminiscent of leylines streching around the world and entangling everyone touching them. Also possible plots and insidousness (quick mind and wit.). We will see.
I will be reading through PR thread to see where the world is at and what I can do. Expect wizardy and cobwebs.

Some humans still remain in the dream world, but it is a hellish land of death, and destruction.
