The red marks Hades. The whole planet is not made into some chaotic wasteland. I'm also currently writing my final actions.

Also I am sorry for not making my moves sooner, I was very occupied with concerts.

EDIT:Ok, tell me if something in my last action is a no-go by the rules.

That last gobbo would stand there, missing an arm, punctured in a kidney, liver, and spleen, fading in and out of consciousness at the far end of where the drawbridge would go, and his last sight would be the drawbridge dropping down and smashing him like a bug.

God DAMN I love this game!

The rules are based on III - does that mean the gods will again be dependent on their starting tribes? I never understood the reasons for that change, except for weakening the gods = less Acts, less work, but that particular idea was always very bleh to me. If I remember correctly, my Dreamwalker 'champion' mindraped everyone in my tribe a bit into the game anyhow, durr.

The biggest problem with it was people not being able to communicate with eachother, though. These games always die without a good meeting at some point, whether player or GM-organized.

Doing the turn now, but I just wanted to say that Tick's death was truly Epic, and in the proper sense of the word.  Nicely done.

Time for me to make a random roll over the surviving sapient race!  Will it be Windriders, Chimaera, or Dragons?  Only the Random Number Gods know for sure!  And me.  Since Chimaera have such support I'll give them an even chance of surviving, with the others having a quarter chance.  Plus, the world is going to flood!  It will end up looking something like this...

Spoiler: Map! (click to show/hide)

Map's not complete yet, full version will go up with Turn in about four hours (hopefully).  Still to do: Canyons, Rivers, Lakes, Other Terrain Types.  I'm using a much larger base map, so future maps may well be significantly zoomed in (to about a 1pixel : 10km ratio), to give the full map roughly the dimensions of the Earth.  Coreolis stream marks both the path of the storms and the concentrations of the floating islands, though the storm effects range out rather further.  The Isle of the Winds not only floats but is pushed by the winds in a West -> East direction (against the Sun) across the twelve months of the year.

NB:  Tick's grave will thus be on the island between Imsisa and Imsatium, unless Nuke wants me to move it to the edge of Imsisa.  I'm responding to calls for more sea.  =B

Re; DH's concerns:  There will be a tribal association, but depending on the race you'll basically be starting on the same continent, so meetings will happen pretty much from the start.  Gods will be dependent on either worship or secondary sources of power, but I have a good reason for that which will be explained in the Turn 1 fluff - essentially that gods are concentrations of divine Essence, but without mortal imagination they have no form of their own.  Belief in their power doesn't give them power per se, but it concentrates more of their Essence into a form they can use.

I do intend to start gods off with minor acts, but when a god gets to 5 minor acts I'll upgrade them to start getting Lesser Acts instead, and so on so that we can slowly up the power level of the game as the turns progress (along with the advancement of civilisation).  I'm really hoping to try and get us to at least the Renaissance if not Modern or Space Age, but that will mean continuing this about a year or two, at a turn per week.  =P

Alright. I have my worries, as I spent several turns in III just doing nothing because I needed to get 5 Acts to get what I wanted, but maybe I'm just stubborn. This is shaping up to be a great game, the Age of Titans was a great idea. It would be amazing to see this continuing for hundreds/thousands of (err, ingame) years.

Spoiler: Map! (click to show/hide)

When I said outlying islands, I specifically meant those four, Tawk wanted it to seem like there was nothing their but dangerous rocky crags, not rocky crags surrounded by pretty nice islands were people can rest and set up for a journey to the mountain, if you want to get to the mountain you have to sail their, then through some dangerous terrain, then climb a mountain.

Also shouldn't the islands be above were the true mountain was?  I could of sworn it was split by the mountain?

yes yes it was.

Are the dragons truly sentient? I got the impression that they are... 'just' dragons.

Anyway. Having Tick's grave be on an island is fine. The island closest to Imsatium, at the end of the island chain, right? Yeah, that'll be fine. Steelspire will work as well as the capital of a merchant republic as it would the capital of an empire spanning two continents.

Excellent, now they may also have to deal with storms.  *does the burn's fingers thing*

I assume that when they find your remains, it's gonna be like apes finding an obelisk in the middle of a pile of bones.  Or going on mars and finding alien technology.

The dragons are intelligent, sentient beings who are capable of complex ways of communication and have an hierarchy.

Ninja'd by Vagel, but yes.  He specified sentience, which means they're part of the Survival Roulette!  In other words, there's a 25% chance that only the ruins of dragon civilisation might survive...  And yes, end of the island chain.

Edit:  Oh yes - if the Windriders/Chimaera survive, they are totally going to be flying squirrel-folk.

Pretty sure Chimera don't have wings the only thing they got from the windriders was like flesh and skin, their form is the same as the unliving.

Pretty much Chimera's are just humans.

Most of the remains are buried. Also, either the dragons or the chimaera will hopefully have built a city on top of him before end of the Age of Titans, so there should be a ruined city to dig through before reaching him.

But yeah, if the people of Clocktown start digging deep into their basements, they would quickly learn that the clocktower is not the only piece of interesting technology around them. Perhaps with technological advancement they will be able to salvage bits and pieces of Tick's corpse. Perhaps eventually salvage all of it, and REBUILD HIM.
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-yeah that's never happening.

It's like a cross between the terminator when his human-skin has been burned off, but with tentacles and a big bushy tai- Oh. Ok.
