Set a basic clone to makeing Concrete

However it is only concrete powder without the water.

And we don't have spare water.

So we should make a couple more barrels and then after this night send some clones to fetch water. Or just wait until we divert the river over here, however that could take a while and I think that better defenses should be a priority.

I'm thinking Armok(?) had the right idea with the pump and pipes; it would be much easier in the long run to build a reservoir and pump it full occasionally than to keep hauling barrels back and forth.

Ideally that would be the best option indeed.

However if it looks like that might take a while to get set up it might be worthwhile getting a few barrels of water for some concrete to give us some stronger defenses. It all depends how strong the attacks get before the pipe gets set up.

We should see how long laying a pipe would take first then.
Also it might be worth while trying to scrape the cash together to get one of those digger animals if that will speed up digging the trench to lay the pipe in.

We should probably also make sure the five pipe sections is enough to get the water too us (or did I miss a post about that), if we need more we'd have to factor that time in as well.

Honestly, if we are going to scrape together monny for somthing what we realy need is the xeno cloaning.

No we don't.

See? Thats not to say we might not be able to power through anyway as a madecentric scientist but we would probably have to resurce each native we whant to cloan in adition to any modifications we whanted to do to it.

I'll just leave this here.

I was going to make a snarky comment, but the search results were rather amusing, particularly the one for dating singles in the Cloan, Saskatchewan area.

Agreed it would be nice but it's pretty expensive. Do we want to sell enough clones to get that?

You already have Xeno Cloning. As was established last time this discussion happened. I just forgot to put it down in that list.

Alright, order compilation. Currently we have:

Place the warehouse in J7-J9 (Door at J7 facing West)
Use 2 more nutrients to fix the minion design
Throw the failed experiment back into the clone tank
Put five proteins worth of Greater Wolfhound into the clone tank
Grow another minion
Make two barrels from the plumpet wood
Order the worker Goro to start digging a ditch to the river. Starting from our base.
Begin designing a clone that emits radio waves due to bioelectricity
Calculate how many pipes would be needed to move water from the river to the base.

Important: Change name of minnion clone to 'minion' because minnion is stupid and was probably a typo.

Radio clone is not silly! With proper adgustments to the brain so it can inturpert said signels we can have clones that act as walking comunication nodes. In fact, we probably wouldent have to do that much modification. Al they realy need its the ability to send and receve signels, The can be taught a coad worked out from pulses of on/off signaling. With clones that have unique individual frequencys there will be no danger of cross talk. Madecentric scientists don't rely on puny communicators!
