Okay. Here is my suggestion:

Modules:
1600 BAcM: 2 (7/8) -2
2600 BAgM: 1 (2/2) -1
3600 BPP: 1 (0/0) +10
5000 BMM: 1 (2/5) -1
8400 NCM: 1 (0/0) -2

Clones:
720 BWC: 4
1320 BCC: 2

Arms:
750 BL: 3

Total:

10470 Yollars, 30 left over
+4 Energy perday -6 Energy pernight
Seven people, room for eight
Room for three more miners.

Edit: Please note that even if we can store energy from the day we will be running short. Is not really a issue if we can turn things off, since we wont use everything every day anyway. But if we can not turn things off we need to find fuel on the first day.
Agreed

Although we do lack any idea of the terrain or the inhabitants. Does menial labor mean aid in construction or those that do mundane stuff?

Basic power plants can now store 5 energy. I really should have thought of storing energy since it is a bit of a conern when you can't produce any at night without fuel.

So we need to post everything in one post? I thought its just like the above, all suggest and then...

Does the planet have breathable air by the way?

I usualy wait for a few suggestions and then either go with the most popular one or come up with something that should please most people.
Also-
Like all passengers on the ship you will be left on a habitable planet.

dumping you on a lifless rock seemed a bit mean.

I am working on the update although I'm not sure how long it's going to take..

i agree with the Criptfeind suggestion.

We can store 4 energy during day. Just shut off useless modules during night and we can go on.

Problem is, it seems that every module is useful or it would have been stated. But thinking that, if they were shut off then maybe it could turn into a day - build and a night - attack scenario where we depend on our CC clones.

...I'm going off-topic again right?

yeah. we could either shut down the NCM or both the BMM and BAgM. It's not like we work at night. I'd rather shut down the NCM thought, because the plants could not like the shutdown.

You have decided to make the following purchase:
Modules:
Basic Accomodation Module: 2
Basic Agriculture Module: 1
Basic Power Plant: 1
Basic Manufacture Module: 1
Normal Cloning Module: 1

Clones:
Basic Worker Clone: 4
Basic Combat Clone: 2

Arms:
Basic Laser: 3

for a total of 10,470 Yollars leaving you with 30 yollars left.

And now that you have ordered the equipment that may take you to greatness it is time to fill out the last forms before this adventure can begin.

This is the landing location assigned to you by the local administration:

Since you've purchased a number of modules you'll have to designate where they will be deployed.

Location with cooardinates overlay:

(Darkened areas cannot be used for deployment)

You will also have to submit the name of your colony for bookkeeping purposes.

Please submit locations for each of the modules and a name for your colony:

You can leave that area and expand outwards so it's not just cosmetic. Come to think of it I should have put up a map of the surrounding area as well since it will effect decisions that are going to be made. I might get around to that before I go to bed since it's not somthing that would take long.

Edit: That 'waterlike source' to the north is the sky. I just draw these landscapes with a weird perspective.

So either we are looking down with a 3D perspective and are on a floating island thingy?

Am leaving the placing to more experienced people. I'm bad at this thing.

Nice landscape though.

I did up a little map:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The green areas have high amounts of vegetation. The dotted blue lines show areas where water flows (rivers). The triangles show moutainous areas. The background colour shows the adverage altitude, the lighter the higher. the red 'X' is the location of the landing site.

So either we are looking down with a 3D perspective and are on a floating island thingy?

It's like your looking down the side of a hill and you can see over the crest at the other hills behind it. Although I always ignore that and pretend the side of the hill is flat and that really messes with things since they no longer make sense.

Based on the map, we need to shift the power plant westward for easy power.

Still I'm not giving up the thought of imminent raids in the coming week or so.

-power plant B9
-Accomodation modules F8 and G8
-Agricultural module B8 - This also helps in getting wood, note that.
-Cloning module E7 - Source for humanoids. Must be protected.
- Manufacture Module [Does the landscape affect?] - [Up for suggestion]

P.S. I'm new to the Forum Games, so excuse my mindset of 'Avert Impending Doom' please  :D

Given the probability of the forest hosting potentially dangerous creatures, I stick with my suggestion.

Colony name: Alpha-Z Pictorisol
